Yay, Me!

I'm just about done with the dreaded first 3 days :D

Actually I feel GREAT. Lighter already by a few pounds. And am I weird or what but the MF food tastes better each day (maybe its the Mrs. Dash I add to the soup!)

Day 1 was good, but I got "the headache" midday on Day 2 that hung around til this morning but now it is 6 pm on Day 3 and I feel just fine. I have been hitting my supplements every 2.5-3 hours to keep the hungries at bay. Today I'm wearing pants I would NOT have pulled out of the closet on Monday. Started at 183 lbs on Mon, and down to 180 this a.m.

Haven't been guzzling as much water as I normally do so need to bump that up.

Today has looked like this:
8:30 shake
11:30 oatmeal
2:00 chili and crackers
5:00 shake
8:00 Swordfish and salad, yum
(too full to eat my 5th supplement...have to try to get that one in)

See ya tomorrow!

My Day 4 - Thurs, 7/12/07

Day's going good....

I'm down from 183 to 178 - yay.

So far, here's my meals:

8:30 am vanilla shake mixed with tangerine/strawberry crystal light - now, this sounded like a good and creative idea but it was rather nasty. I'll stick to the plain water!

11:00 am chocolate shake

1:00 pm cappuccino (with some coffee added to cut the sweetness)

4:00 p.m strawberry shake

7:30 pm L/G: grilled chicken and salad

9:30 pm choc. pudding

I'm drinking more water today....

100 day challenge, 100 days of cheat free compliance, now that is intriguing!

Why does it sound so daunting??

If I did it, I would probably be just about at goal....

hmmmmmmm

I feel great eating this way, so why wouldn't I go for it?

I feel a little overwhelmed with how much weight I have to lose, and a little overwhelmed with the prospect of staying compliant that long as in all honesty, I have never stuck to it longer than 3 weeks.

Ok Frankie!! You can do it!! Look at it this way...

IF you don't do it NOW, you'll have even MORE weight to lose in the future!! You'll be kicking yourself saying...Oh I wish I had handled this when I had to lose 50lbs NOT 100lbs!!

Don't let the numbers scare or fool ya!! I've only lost 11lbs on the scale, but in all reality, I'm exercising and I've lost more then what the scale is saying.

I also feel better, physically and emotionally!! I know I'm doing what I need to be healthier and better for my family!!

Ok, hold on now while I step off my "box"...ooops I almost fell..tee hee.

Keep on going!!

PS. Thanks for visiting my journal!!!
God Bless,
Laura

Also that is when we started the 100 day challenge, 4 days ago. So you can techinally say you already started it.

Day 5, Fri the 13th!

Feeling good, scale up a notch but I expect that to fluctuate. I feel good, my smaller pants fit, so onward we go! I'm not going to play the scale game, I'm going to rely on the mirror and the smaller clothes in my closet to better gauge my progress.

Today so far:

8:00 am Scrambled eggs (um, interesting flavor! tasted more like grits than scrambled eggs but I like grits so, I guess that's fine...I used 4-5 oz of water, shook it up in the shaker and then cooked it in the pan w/no fat smart balance....)

12 noon orange shake (waited too long)

2:15 chicken noodle soup

dinner LG: grilled chicken and salad

8 pm shake

Trying to drink lots of water today....it makes me feel great.

I don't know where I've been while all this has been going on in your journal, but I am excited that you are doing so great...
Only thing I see missing is your picture on your avatar---I just looooove to see who is posting.
You've got such great support that you really can't fail, so just jump in with all four feet...I mean with all you have and get the job done!
So glad you're here!
