Frankie~ My family loves to go camping also. Of course, my idea of camping is in a trailer that has a potty (a must), air conditioning, a fridge, a stove/oven, etc. Basically, a hotel room on wheels.

It's great that you are planning ahead by preparing to take your medi-meals. Planning is definitely the key to success here.

I agree with the others. I would take my scale. ;) It's not obsessive........it's vital information!!!! ;)

Thanks for your message - you gave me a good laugh!

That's what I love about these boards. You guys "understand" where I'm coming from. :-P

In the past, the thought of changing my routine was hard to imagine and harder to do, so whenever I had a dinner out, a party, a holiday or stressful day, down the tubes went my MF plan. I don't know what's different this time but I really feel like I can stick to it.

Nice to meet you too - I have seen you around for a little while and you are making great progress!

I think I read somewhere on the boards that you work on JumboTrons or something like that and travel a lot. What a cool job 8) I'm gonna check out your journal and see if any MF-while-traveling tips are in there.

Thanks for the encouragement :D

It is helping me a lot!

Instead of getting stressed out about "oh, no, what do I do about camping, what about my weigh in", I am feeling confident that I can stay on plan. Hubby is going to make scrambled eggs for the family for breakfast, and I'll get a chance to see how those MF eggs cook up! yum (we'll see)

Wed, 5-9-07, Day 4, Looked like this: (I was swamped and not able to post it yesterday)

8 am Vanilla Shake
10:30 Strawberry Shake
3:00 Vanilla Shake
4:00 Strawberry Shake (I was hungry!)
7:30 L/G Veal (6 oz. and Green salad, with 1 stalk broccoli)

12 cups of water

Didn't get in that 5th supplement. I was tired, and full, and just went to bed. Will get it in today.

Still down 4 pounds, but my waistbands on my skirts and pants are looser so I don't care what the scale says! :)

I have been having almost exclusively shakes, and I'm almost all outta shakes! I have tons of soup, etc. I ordered a whole bunch of stuff, including more shakes, which should arrive after the weekend.

In my past MF attempts, I had fewer shakes and more of the "food" (soup, chili, etc.). Now I'm drinking so many shakes and finding it easier to stay on plan - maybe that is helping me this time? I have been really busy at work this week so the shakes have been the easiest. It literally takes 3 minutes for me to mix and drink a shake, refill my big water bottle and take a potty break.

Frankie,

I know what you mean about just not wanting another shake at night. I found that if I felt like that, it was easy enough to have an RTD shake, even right before bed. It's only 8 ounces.

It's just really important to eat all of your supplements. The calories are so low on this program, that we need every one.

You posted at a great time as I just read this after I was noticing it is almost 3 pm and I've only had 3 supps so far, so I better get my butt in gear so I eat them all.

My RTDs should be hear after the weekend so I will try that.

8:00 a.m. Choc. Shake
10:20 a.m. Cran/Mango Drink
1:45 p.m. Orange Shake
3:00 p.m. Cream of Broccoli Soup (1st time having it - pretty good!)

so far (at 3 pm) 9 cups of water

Goal for rest of day:
1. Eat that 5th supplement!
2. Drink more water

OK, time for my Re-Re-Start!

I'm starting again tomorrow, July 8, 2007. I feel great when being compliant on MF - I look forward to enjoying good health and a trim new figure!

I made some new mini-goals, and have some new "slightly too small" clothes hanging in the closet for motivation :-P
