Fat Suggestions, PLEASE :-)

Postby Out*With*The*Old » October 13th, 2007, 8:26 am

Good Morning!

I'm looking for fat suggestions!! I end up doing 6&0 more often than I thought I would these days. I've been so busy that its just worked out to be the best way for me to stay OP and not stress out.

Anyway, I assume I still need a fat serving on these days? Isn't that true? If so, I'm looking for OP suggestions. I'm not really into eating servings of mayo (accck) or dressing alone - - puke :( .

So, I am wondeing what others are doing for their fat servings? The guides are very thin on providing a variety of options.

Thanks!!

I would just have a small salad with dressing. Buy a bag of prepared salad. Add dressing. 5 minutes. Tops. Problem solved.

I know that sounds soooo simple! I find I am normally eating on the run (which is why just mixing up a shake is so easy) and I'm often away from home. Some of the days last week I just couldn't stomach another salad - I'm not a big veggie girl. I miss milk! I was hoping for a few tabespoons of milk or something else that wasn't a condiment, KWIM? I figured there had to be other options - I mean, what do people do that are on the complete plan?

Thanks, Biki!!!

Look here ---

http://www.tsfl.com/program/resources/Condiment.pdf

Says 1/2 cup whole milk, 5-6 black olives, 1 tbsp cream cheese (regular), 2 tbsp 1/2 n 1/2 creamer, 1 tsp butter etc etc etc. When I need to add fat I like to put cream cheese on a fruit and nut or an oatmeal raisen bar. YUM.

Hmmm, maybe its because nobody has the time to read every single thing on the forum? ;)

That's why rely on everybody here, we all know little bits to share.

Yeah, I'll go with that! I'll pretend that I didn't visit the resource area and overlooked the Condiments list thinking no way would it be listed there, lol.

So, any one know how much 2% milk I could have for my fat? Its what we normally have here.

Thanks, Mike :-)

From FitDay:
4 oz. or 1/2 cup whole milk = 74 calories, 4 grams Fat, 6 Carbs, 4 Protein
To compare:
5 oz. 2% milk = 76 cals, 3 fat, 7 carbs, 5 protein
6 oz. 2% milk = 92 cals, 4 fat, 9 carbs, 6 protein

I do the 6-0 and usually I just go to Dunkin and get my medium iced coffee with cream (flavored though with toasted almond no carbs in the flavorings) I asked
