I checked on my shipment and it will be here today sometime. YES!!!!

The past weekend was fun, a little different, but I enjoyed being with my sister and her family. I also had some of the best Mexican food I have had in a long time, so I'm good to go. Mexican food is a big weakness of mine but I do have the right mindset now to put my weight loss first.

This next Friday I'm going to a convention and don't really know how to work all my shakes and stuff in so if anyone has any ideas please let me know. I just thought at the end of the day when we go eat I could do my L&G then.

Hope everyone has a wonderul weight loss week!

You ARE ready, Donna ... good luck on your journey to good health! :you: I'll be thinking of you--coincidentally, my order is arriving today too! ;)

I think it's a good idea to have the L&G when you go out to eat, just remember the basics--broiled/grilled and hold the butter! Many restaurants add butter (yes, even to steak!) for flavor. I usually get the dressing on the side and just dip my fork into the dressing before I fill it with salad.

I always carry water with me and drink it constantly ... and remember, that 1/2 bottle of water turns into a great shaker bottle for your shakes! Keep a bar in your purse at all times--that way you always have food with you should time become a factor.

Remember ... planning is key. If you plan ahead the chances are that you will be very successful! Oh, take the Quick Start Guide along with you--you can study it during idle hours ... :D

Thanks Mary for the ideas; the 1/2 bottle of water for mixing the shakes is what I will do. I know the fork in the salad dressing trick and I will be sure and tell the waiter no butter. I have been pretty good about drinking water so that will not be a problem; I'm constantly going to the bathroom, which can get a little annoying. I'm not so worried now, everything will work out and I will be able to stick to my plan. I may look funny carrying around a water bottle with brown stuff in it but, oh well! Thanks again.

Thanks holberry, I already can't decide this morning what I want to have first (besides my cup of coffee) but I'll get it in before the hour is up.

This is my first day of MF and I had a wonderful Dutch Choc slushy shake with a little bit of instant coffee in it and it was great! I have been on the computer so much lately reading everything I can in the forum so my goal today is to get up and move around more. I have a birthday party planned for my granddaughter on Saturday with out-of-town guests coming so I'll get some cleaning in today. I'm very glad to be on the MF program finally and looking forward to the upcoming months ahead.

Thanks ladies! So far everything I have had has been good. My stomach feels a little empty right now but I'm going to get me some more water before I walk out the door to my son's basketball games. Think I need to take a shake pkg with me since I may be there a while. I still have my L&G tonight too so all is well and before I know it my first day will be over with.

My husband and I are surprising my son tonight with a new truck; I'm so excited! Gotta go.
