Help!!! Need Advice!

Postby Charity » September 17th, 2007, 9:43 am

Okay so I am sick as a dog. I have a high fever and the shakes and my body hurts everywhere! Do I stay on program? I don't want to let my best friend down.

What's the general rule for sickness?

thanks for your time,
Christy

Hey, what's going on here? I'm really sick too. I'm fighting the flu right now.

You can stay on plan while you're fighting this bug. I was sick once before while doing MF and I did fine. I've been downing the soups and hot cocoa. I didn't feel like eating a lean and green yesterday so I did 6 supplements instead. Hot tea and lots of water have helped me to stay hydrated.

Hope you feel better soon :hugblue:

Okay cool, so I will stick with plan even though I have a bug. Good to know! Thanks for the advise.

I am on day 4 from restarting and already I am down to 169.4 from 174.8! How cool it that? Oh, Steph is on day 5 and she is down 12, yes that's right 12 lbs!

Hope you're feeling better today!
:D
If you need more info on ording the MF book, " The Secret is out", let me know. I'm not sure if they sell it outside of the Medifast sites, but you can try and Amazon it.

almost 100%

Postby Charity » September 18th, 2007, 1:24 pm

I am almost 100%. I have a sore throat and loss my sense of smell...weird because it is neither clogged nor runny. It takes the pleasure out of eating my lean and green but hey, I don't mind if it never comes back. I can handle living without the pleasure of eating. I will just suvive off the pleasure of trying on clothes in the dressing room instead.

OH, baby crying.....

Oh I am back to pre fall off the wagon weight! 169.5

okay really gotta go...

I have to admit I woke up and the middle of the last night ,walked into the kitchen, looked in the fridge for a second, opened the cabinet doors for a minute. Then went back to sleep. Guess I was making sure all was well in the kitchen. Old habits die hard.

I do the sleep walk to the fridge too! I put a glass of water or crytal light in there for just such an occation and it helps.

Before medifast, I used to pop my head into the fridge all the time for no reason and close it. It was like I couldn't get food out of my mind.

Yup. Me too! Eating was like recreation, entertainment, comfort, and especially here in Hawaii, a big part of just being local! Yikes! Even till today, I still have to remind myself that food is not my best friend, it's just nutrients to keep me alive!

Hope you're having a great Thursday!

Hawaii food :hammerhead: .....we have quite the challenge here. Steph doesn't know how I do it. She says this diet would be impossible if she was back home. In high school my mother moved back to Hawaii from Vegas and I would fly down to Hawaii and spend the summer with her. Every year I would gain 10 lbs in the summer. It was like, "Oh, it's katsu chiken, keawe grill, mochi, spam musubi, fried noodle, green tea ice cream, wiaola shave ice time!!!"

Mmmmm, sounds so good (except maybe the spam) ;)

My friends are from Hawaii and always tell me about the trucks that serve the big plates or rice and chicken. Hang in there and remember Nancy's motto... nothing tastes as good as thin feels.

BTW, TSFL is offering the book with the BeSlim club, for free as MF does with its autoship program. Just FYI.

You gals are doing great. =0)
