I'm just wondering if anyone has found that their taste for things has changed? I have always loved coffee but I tried to have a cup today and I couldn't drink it because it tasted so nasty!

There are many threads on this because it's happened to so many of us. I, for one, have hated oatmeal for all 44 years of my life. Now I eat it two or three times a day because I love it so much. I also didn't like the pudding and a few other products when I first started Medifast; now I eat them all the time.

It's strange, isn't it?

Funny thing... my sister Danielle told one of her friends about me being on medifast and the success I was having and her friend ordered. I was just talking to my sis today and she said her friend wanted her to ask me if my taste changed. Come to find out her friend was a coffee fanatic and she had some the other day and it didn't taste the same to her.

Well, I don't know if this counts or not, but yesterday I had broccoli with just MollyMcButter and a little salt and pepper and thought it was terrific. This is very strange for me, as I usually load on the cheese sauce or I wouldn't eat it before.

I ate out so maybe the restaurant's is better than what I cook! LOL

I put my MollyMcButter in my purse and just pulled it out and used it right there in the restaurant. My daughter got a kick out of that!

My tastes have totally changed! A lot of things are VERY sweet to me! Things I didn't used to like Medigrub-wise are now favorites. It's such an interesting phenemenon as I go through this journey!

Yes I do believe our tastes change after we have been on the Medifast for awhile. I appreciate my vegetables and actually enjoy every bite of them now.

I used to hate the strawberry Medifast shake - now I think it tastes delicious.

Once I took a two week break from the medifast and I actually missed it. When I got back on it I enjoyed it more than before.

Is it weird that my sense of smell has possibly changed. Took my kids through McD drive through last night for a couple happy meals to go. The wife was out of town and Dad officially announced it was "vegetable free" Tuesday. Actually with their sports/social schedule that was the only thing I could come up with that fit the timeframe. Anyway I digress...the smell of the french fries actually seemed to be unappetizing to me. I found it quite easy to be in the car with the smell of french fries and not have some sort of high fat and cholesterol craving.
