Average losses in 4th and 5th weeks

Postby Taszi17 » May 3rd, 2006, 5:37 am

I have seen a dramatic slow down in my weight loss lately. The 4th week was only 1.9 and it is looking like week 5 is going to be the same. Of course I won't know till Sunday but it isn't moving or going up. Is this normal or is there something else I should be doing during this time to shake it up a little. Don't get me wrong I am glad that I am losing I just thought on this program the losses would be more dramatic throughout not just in the beginning. If anyone can give me some of their experiences I would appreciate it. Thanks guys :)

I am coming to realize....we are all different on different patterns.
I know what you mean..some people lose so so fast .
I did great my first week Lost 8.5..
I lost another 1.5 right after that at the very begining of week 2

then....
I didn't lose anything all the way until the end of my 3rd week ..I lost 3.5

I didn't lose for like 10 days...I was panicing. But i think if i didn't weigh in everyday I would have never have know how long that stall was for. Which is what I think would be best.
I mean buy the end of the week I was down

8.5
1.5
3.5

I am learning ..just stick with the plan ,excerise, guzzle the water and stay off the scale .Its gonna happen for all of us for sure :D

Hang in the my friend ...your doing great.

Taszi,

mine has slowed waaaaaay down also, in fact, have not seen any loss this week at all. And I have been completely compliant. But remember girley, it's not Sunday yet....

I have to go out of town for the weekend, back home to see my friends and family, and I am really not excited about it at all.... Just hope I can keep my resolve up around all that food and drink....

Thanks guys I am glad I am not the only Tiolazz. man oh man I am going to have to get off of that dang scale because it is driving me crazy. I keep saying that but every single morning I am on it. Thank god it isn't Sunday or I would be really down. I am just hoping that since I am being compliant in all areas of this that my body will release some of this fat. I just hope it picks up ya know because this is the most strict diet I have ever been on so I really wanna see those results. Oh well hopefully by Sunday. Tiolazz you can do it honey I know what you mean I have a BBQ coming up but it is with friends and they are preparing my L/G just as I have asked. But no alcohol for me oh well it will still be there after I am done. Thanks for the support guys it really helps me out :)

Hang in there Taszil! You're doing GREAT! Me personally, I slowed down at the 5th week...then it picked up again. Your body goes through an adjustment period.

Have somebody hide that daing scale, girl! You are making yourself CRAZY! I noticed that even when the scale was stalled, I was moving around some inches, so pull out those measurements and check it out.

I just wanted to tell you that most of us go through it, it's a test to get through it, but I KNOW you're doing the right thing and I KNOW you're tougher than this slowdown. You can get through it!

Taszi17 ~ Just like everyone else has already stated, everyone's body is different. I wouldn't get worried unless you didn't meet MF avg standards (2-5 lbs per week) for at least 4 weeks. Try to remember that most mainstream health care personnel only recommend losing 1-1.5 lbs per week so you're way above what you'd be losing on any other plan. You're doing great!!!

That helps guys okay so if I am not losing more than 2 for 4 weeks straight I will get worried then. You know me you have to give me something to worry about worrying about hehehehe. Goodness gracious I know I have got to hide it but it is soooooooooooo tempting to weigh in the morning I wanna know soooooooooo bad hehehe. I bet you guys hear this crud a hundred times from people lololol thanks for staying around to help out for the hundred and one time :)

Taszi17 ~ You're welcome. Dieting is stressful and we all need a place to vent and worry. Keep shakin' and keep posting.
