Inch Losses Please

Postby mtomto » March 12th, 2006, 10:47 am

those of you inside the first 5 weeks, please share your waist or other inch loss success. Especially other men like me. I will feel more successful when the inches start moving vs tracking lbs. Thanks.

Hey mtomto,

I didn't get measures, however I went from 2XL t-shirts to medium-large...

As from pants, I've gone from size 44 to a 36-soon 34.

Lost 88 pounds as of today, I know I know my ticker is not up to date :D

As of Sunday: (since January 1st)

2" off my neck
5.5" off my chest
7.5" off my waist
6" off my hips

I'm very happy with my progress but I've still got a very long way to go.

I wish I had taken measurements! I was in a few wedding parties last year and got fitted, so I may have some old measurements somewhere - but they won't be most accurate. Oh well.

Like Hype and KTrout, I'll have to live with the pleasure of watching my clothing size drop quickly. That's nice too! (but expensive)

I will say that my watch is falling off, my ring is super-loose, and my friends and family say that my entire size is dramatically reduced - not just specific features, but overall, ahem, girth. :-)

Thanks all of you. I am early in this (just over a week) fighting with all the willpower I have and just creating doubt in my mind if this is the right track to be on. You have reinforced that it is and I will stay focused. Good to know some fellas are there fighting the same battle. I'll stay in touch with the board as often as I can. BEst to all.
