Any form of exercise is helpful

Postby Joy » August 12th, 2007, 8:33 am

I do not like exercise. As part of the changes that occur from loosing weight and taming the emotional triggers that caused me to gain, a flabby body will not firm up without exercise. Also exercise has countless other benefits that I would choose to forget, but I do not like Bat Wings.

Best wishes to everyone who can get their exercise in!

Now tell me to go for a walk............

A walk is a GREAT way to get started! You can increase the duration as you grow more and more comfortable!

Maybe, at least to start, don't even approach it as exercise. How about just taking the stairs instead of the elevator, and parking a little farther away from the door? Little things like that can add up, and it can be less intimidating than actually starting an exercise program.
