I have to say, I really like this show. I was pretty hooked on it last year (and I think I liked Mandeesa (sp?) the best and wish she had gone further). Not sure I will let myself get as hooked on it this year, but, you never know :-P

Every year I say to my hubby I just want to watch the first few weeks to see the Funny try outs and the first few cuts. That never works. I end up taping and watching every week. It is very addicting. I liked Hicks in the beginning of last season but toward the end he just didn't sound the same. Maybe selling out a bit on the soul songs to sing more pop songs.

Anyway.... YAY!!!! American Idol!!!

Ha. Every year I say I'm not going to watch anymore. Kinda like Survivor. And The Apprentice. And yet there I am, every year.

Of course, as soon as I move to features next week, it'll be part of my job again. Gotta keep up with pop culture.

I always say I'm not going to watch all these reality type shows, but then always cave in to the point where I have more recorded than time to watch. I need to get OUT of the house, not stay in.

One thing that's helped me is the treadmill. At least then I'm not just sitting around watching.

I am aslo a huge fan. I love the first few weeks. My 8 year just asked when is is coming back on. Also a huge fan of Big Brother.

I am totally pumped for this and my dvr (generic tivo) is READY! i am so psyched -- one of the few reality shows i watch diligently and am not embarrassed to tell people ~ LOL

I can't wait! American Idle and The Biggest Loser are my two fave tv shows. Really they're the only new tv I watch.

Ohhh Yes,
I love the American Idol too and the Apprentice. I watched Survivor --that's my sister's favorite. My daughter just came back from Palau and was right where they filmed Survivor Palau. It was sure gorgeous there .. but HOT and humid.. it's their summer. She was there working in a medical clinic over Christmas break. I even watched the amazing race.... hmmmm
Too much TV most likely :mrgreen:
