I am really not into this show like I use to be. I like her, but I like Melinda even better. And she just seems so humble, and so shocked when she gets positive feedback. Her reaction to the standing ovation the other night made me cry (so it wasn't just Paula). I'd buy her album in a heartbeat, and I'd pay to see her in concert.

Yup! Melinda is amazing! That's how I judge a winner, if I can sit through a full concert of just that person singing.... and she is it! I can listen and watch her for hours!! She is a great performer who captivates her audience's ears and eyes! IF she gets voted off, I'll stop watching the show.

Di and I like Melinda and Jordin (I loved when she sang a couple of weeks ago - the ballad). We have yet to hear Melinda sing bad. We liked Gina, but she is gone now.

Wow! The girls rule! I think one of the guys will be booted tonight. The girls just out-shined them last night.

Jordin was spectacular! I was blown away by her performance. And Melinda was superb as usual!

Last night?? Funny, I thought Jordin was off her game and not nearly as good as she usually is. I think one of the boys will go, though. Chris' time has come, as far as I'm concerned. Or even LaKisha. I like her singing, but the girl needs to smile once in a while.

Yeah, I dunno, I agreed with the judges comments about Jordin. She took a really, really old song, and made it her own, where she could even record it, and it would become a hit. And she hit some really difficult high notes, right on the nail.
I agree with you on Chris, I think he should go. And a smile would work wonders for Lakisha. She seems so intense and serious. She needs to lighten up so her personality can shine through with that awesome voice.

I wish that last night they would have just said from the beginning that no one was getting booted. I realize they would have had a smaller audience, but still.

Last night was frustrating.. I had to fight with hubby and his best friend for the remote (it's hockey playoffs).. and then finally they didn't kick anyone.

I kinda guessed, as it was charity night, but still, it was annoying.

On another note, I am really happy that they're doing this Idol Gives Back thing.. it's a nice idea.
