My favorites right now are Blake and Chris Sligh. The rest are kind of all the same.

Yup. I thought he was going to be a favorite when they showed the first auditions. I think he'll be gone this week. :uhuh:

Simon was right, too. He DID pretty much whisper half his song. What's up with that? I like Chris Sligh, and I'd like to see more of Sundance before I decide on him. I think the boys were much better this week, but still not as good as some of the girls last week. I hope the girls don't fall apart tonight.

That's what the dual-tuner TiVo is for. so I can watch American Idol AND Gilmore Girls. (OK, and Heroes AND 24. And ...)

OK....... I finally got to watch my taped Idol shows from this week. I agree......... Sanjaya needs to go, but he's getting the little girl votes big time.

Chris Richardson really bothers me also, and they loved him. He is what the kids refer to as a "poser." He is a Justin Timberlake wanna-be except I don't think he can sing. He is a good performer.....horrible singer.

And what's with Antonella.....YUCK! I thought she should have gotten booted.

I don't have any major favorites just yet. Usually by this time I have already picked out who I want to win. This is going to be an interesting season.

I agree about Antonella! They booted Frenchie in the 1st of 2nd season for LESS than Antonella's done! I was looking up the bios of this seasons competitors and came across the pics.........HORRIBLE!!!! :oops:

Plus, she can't sing anyway.

I think that a girl will win.......and I think it will be between Melinda Doolittle and LaKesha. Both have much bigger voices......the third left will be the young girl. She has an awesome voice! Last night, they eliminated the wrong girl! :cry:

I'm glad that they've gotten to the 12 finalists....was getting tired of so many bad performances. :roll:

I like the finals.......much more exciting!

Hmmm,
I was sorry to see Sundance go ... should have been the "smiley" one. And I agree the wrong girl did leave.... hmmm Oh and did I mention I have to listen to the program with my headphones on. :mrgreen:

My hubby is a talented musician and he can't stand to listen to most of them. So there I am with my headphones!! :mrgreen:

I fast-forward through the worst of them. When they're so bad, I can't even mock them. But i'm a sucker for the horrid group-sings.

I'm afraid LaKisha and Melinda will have a similar audience, so they'll end up splitting the vote. I predict at least one will depart much too early (but the good news is she'll still get a record deal and will be another Clay or Jennifer Hudson).

They did a story on this on "Today" this morning. There's a whole campaign to vote for him (thank you, Howard Stern - the original one, not the Anna Nicole Smith one - and some Web site). He needs to get out of my living room NOW.
