a very new newbie

Postby Guest » November 24th, 2006, 5:10 pm

Hi - I did Medifast a couple of years ago and then life sort of got in the way. My Mom and younger sister died within 6 weeks of each other, I had 2 unexpected surgeries and my husband lost his job. All of these within a 6 month period. I confess to being an emotional overeater; and I can truthfully say. my compulsion took over and all the weight I lost (100 #) has once again come back on. In researching Medifast I found this site. :D
And I am hoping that having some online support will make it easier to re-lose this weight. I am so new I have not ordered my starter kit yet. There were 2 "800" numbers on the site and I wasn't sure which one to call so I sent an e-mail instead. I do have some medifast products left over and I am hoping to begin this Dec 1st. I know it works; and I want to lose the weight. Thanks to anyone who can lend some pearls of wisdom. I want this to be the last time I am faced with having to lose weight. I won't use the word diet - as that has a beginning and an end. I want this to be the beginning - of something truly good. :D

Thanks,
Sheri

A zillion thanks for the warm words of welcome and support.
I have just ordered my first month's package and it should be here next Thursday, which works with my timeline. My plan is to start December 1st.

Your post touched my heart! But I am so glad you have decided to do it again!
So many of us have gone that route and regained, but this can truly be the last time as it is with me and so many others.
You have come to the right place for support and encouragement.
Looking forward to your progress on this MF journey with us.
