TV top ten-ish

Postby sidrah » June 21st, 2006, 12:36 am

In no order, and probably not 10, but whatever it is...

Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas- got hooked on the second after CJ crossover with it

Rescue Me- So, anyone else watch it....like all 3 times it is re-shown, too? Can you tell it just went off, so it is on my mind.

Law and Order- (all of them, esp. SVU, bit not so much CI unless it is with the new 2)

The CLoser (Okay, I like cop shows--all of them)

Comedy Central Stuff- Daily SHow, COlbert Reprt, Mind of Mencia, David Spade show

CNN Stuff- AC 360 (I re-watch that in re-run, too) and maybe Larry King depending on who is on

Can we tell that I am up laaaate at night. Yay for me I can function on 3-4 hours of sleep

What do you guys tune in for?

House
Monk
Jeopardy (Mike's favorite)
Survivor/American Idol (we flip back and forth)
Mike likes the crime scene drama stuff -- they give me nightmares sometimes (yeah, ok, I'm a wimp)
Just about anything science fictiony, like the 4400 or anything Start Trek (I will date myself and admit I watched the original series prior to reruns with my dad)
A's baseball when in season
Anything on the Travel channel, Discovery channel, History channel or HGTV (well, not everything)
and thanks to the R family, just about anything on Food network

Mike grew up with the TV on, I didn't and still prefer it that way. (The computer, on the other hand, ...)
Here's to our mutual success! :buddies: --Diana

Diana Monk is a great show. He is so funny.

I'm not really hooked on too many shows but I really like Myth Busters and King of the Hill. These I will watch pretty regularly even though they are often repeats.

I don't watch a whole lot of tv. I used to watch the food tv network all the time. I love Rachel Ray. However, sometimes watching that channel is a little tough for me now. Stuff I do watch (but rarely)

Family Guy
The L Word
That 70s Show

I need a couple good tv shows. I never got into Lost at the beginning so now I'm hopelessly behind unless someone lends me the prior seasons so I can catch up. Otherwise I would have watched it.

I really like sci fi shows but they hardly ever last. I hope Surface comes back since it sounds like Invasion was already cancelled.

I lived in a hotel for a year, so I got hooked on a bunch of shows.

Lost. Top of the list. Best show ever!
Battlestar Galactica. Almost as good as Lost.
Survivor
Apprentice
America's Next Top Model (my guilty pleasure)
American Idol, but only the tryouts. The regular singing contest part of the show is boring to me.
Rome. On HBO, and they better be bringing it back for another season.
Family Guy
American Dad

Sports
TNA wrestling
ECW wrestling. It's on it's second week, and so far it's getting better.
Eco Challenge, if I can ever find it on Discovery.
World's Strongest Man competitions
Tour de France

Late night
Ghost in the Shell
Inuyasha
The Daily Show
The Colbert Report

My favorite is MONK...new season starts soon! Love it, hope it's not cancelled for years to come.

Science-fiction: Star Treks (I watched 'em too when I was a kid, Diana), The 4400, Lost (liked it at first but now I refuse to watch because it DRAGS too much....too many flashbacks and very little forward story-line! :x ). Love the Gilmore Girls.

HGTV, Discovery, TLC, History channels. Stopped watching the Food Network, for obvious reasons. I like comedy, if it's clean. I'll admit I like to watch America's Funniest Videos.

Don't care for the slew of reality shows, lawyer shows, and gross-me-out bloody-murder shows. Don't like the soaps either.....everybody ends up in bed together and married and divorced to each other.

Not watching a lot of tv these days. And like Diana, I didn't watch very much television growing up (with the exception of Bugs Bunny cartoons and the Wonderful World of Disney).....I wanted to be outside and playing with my friends, instead.

LOST is a great show, however I am beginning to think they are making it up as they go!

Survivor ( every year I say I am not going to get drug into it and then...I do..I'm weak...in so many area's  )

Hell's Kitchen....but dang, is he meanier this season? Good lord...I think he needs some anger management clasess.

King of Queens

Discovery Health Channel ~ I love to watch all the bloody stuff. The human body is an amazing thing!

TLC...I could watch that all day....and have sometimes...lol

Last Comic Standing...although it's annoying me because they didn't put the "funny comedians" in the house, they put the drama queens and kings in there so we would all watch them tear each other up.

House....just started watching that and it's a brilliant show.

David Letterman...love him, but now since I had my baby I'm to tired to stay up and watch him....is that sad or what!

And of course American Idol. GOOOO Taylor!!   Everytime the Ford commerical ( the one were Taylor is singing ) comes on TV my daughter starts to dance...pretty cute
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

Start Weight 326.7 ~ My short term goal will put me at 250!

Started June 19th 2008. First Mini Goal 76.7 pounds.

I watch WAY too much TV, so I don't know if I can narrow it down to 10, but the absolute must-watch shows:

Lost
American Idol
24
Amazing Race
Survivor
Rock Star
The Sopranos
HUFF
Gilmore Girls
Veronica Mars
Project Runway
Top Chef
The Apprentice

Also watch:
The Daily Show
The Colbert Report
Medium
King of Queens
ER
Hell's Kitchen
The Next Food Network Star (or something like that)
Last Comic Standing
Treasure Hunters
Law & Order (all of 'em, but SVU is my favorite)

And lately I'm addicted to the really old "What's My Line?" episodes they show on the Game Show Network.
