Welcome, you are in the right place! I too am just starting, I was using the 25th as day one, but have ben forbidden to Medifast by my Nurse Prac. until I go through a 4 week antibiotic reg. BAH HUM BAH, I have also started a journal, may Isuggest you start on your water intake...like on a weekend....you will make a new path to le'bath, so best if it is an off day...

Enjoy this and think of it as a fun thing, because at the end you will feel better and more than likely enjoy life more. Welcome

LOL Debra, I used to do that too. I'd buy the stuff that fit, but it was always so...not cute, y'know? I wanted the cute stuff, and the clothes in the medium sizes were always cute - so I'd buy them, for when I lost weight, right? ;) Rrrriiiiiigggghhhttt. Well, until MF, that stuff just sat in my closet being cute. But now...I've given all of my fat clothes away and am now wearing the cute stuff!! So, that's one good thing about our little "quirk." Oh, don't get me wrong - I totally still go shopping! I just don't have to do as much of it right now while I'm still inbetween sizes!

About the energy: stick with the program and you will definitely get your energy back. For realz. I just finished a greuling semester in college, with very little sleep for the past three and a half months, and I felt pretty good throughout. My weight loss has slowed because of the sleep deprivation, but I FEEL great! Oh, did I mention that I'm 45 years old? With a bad back? Waaay more energy than before, and I'm doing SO much more. I've even begun exercising for the first time in 9 years!! Just stay on program. You'll love the energy - get ready, here it comes!

Dede- Yes trust me...pulling teeth would be less aggrivating for me than trying on pants!!! LOL But one day i will love shopping again, for clothes like the ones in my closet, that actually fit. You will too. We WILL fit into our skinny pants. :-P

Hi Lucy- Thanks for the welcome. I will probably start the journal idea, I have used it before and then stopped after a month. But I am sure I can write easier now that I post in my journal here. I am good with water.Other than tea, thats all I drink. I get at least 6-8, 16.9oz bottles of Aquafina in a day.I LOVE MY AQUAFINA! I gained alot of weight this past summer from soda, amongst other unhealthy empty calorie foods/beverages. But this past Labor Day I just woke up and decided I didnt want it anymore.Plus it hasnt helped my teeth over the years at all. So its been almost 4 months Jan 4th w/o soda. Dont miss it. I have had a craving for the fizziness once or twice since, but just drank a tea instead.

Sojourner...glad to hear you own the "quirk" too. You do not look 45, which I am sure you hear all the time...and you go to college and have a bad back? You are the definition of a strong woman. You give me motivation even more. I hope to be able to start college in the summer or fall term. I am ready for it now, however financially I'm not. Gotta stay positive. And yes I am ready for much needed energy. :)

Last night after I had what i ate for dinner, i wished even more that my package was already here. I ordered it Sat night and it hasnt been processed yet.I was hoping to have it by Saturday, but it doesnt look like thats gonna happen. I cant wait to start, as I have repeated that so many times....sorry all. Just excited. :)

Well, I wish I would have discovered this program like 6 mos ago. and lost some weight for the handful of job interviews I have had.I have been applying for jobs and interviewing and let me say I am sure I havent been my best while interviewing. No confidence really. I submitted my resume to a company today that I would love to get into, but wish I felt better in my self, for interviewing. I am very unhappy at my job and do not get paid anything near what I used to get paid at my last job but sometimes we just have to start over.No regrets really, just wish I could find something I like doing that paid decent.
So I guess its off to look for a nice new outfit incase I do get an interview. It would be a nice change for me.Start 2007 out with a new job, my Medi Fast Program, all the great support here of course and a smile. :D

My order processed yesterday morning so hopefully it will be here by mid-next week....whoo hoo!!!

Well I just found out my package wont be here until after Christmas, so hopefully mid-next week I will be on the way to losing some weight. I am very impatient... :x

QT- yup I am right on the other side of Gandy. We will definitly have to meet one of these days. I always think that re-starting is better than giving up. I figure if I keep trying it can only get better. To give up would be to give up on one's self and the happiness we deserve...so i never give up.Despite what a few people say, in my case, with this being just another thing I will have to return...they just dont understand my battle and thats okay.I am doing it for me. I am glad you love the program and that you already lost the chunk of weight youve lost.I cant wait for a month from now, to be where youre at.

LadyT- Good Luck on your job!!! I REALLY do hope you get it. A second interview is always a good thing. When do you find out??? Congrats on joining the 30# Club and in wearing the too-big-for-you 16's!!! NSV all the way...Cant wait till I can say that myself. Very motivational you are... Again GOOD LUCK!!!

Awww, thanks Taangrl - I don't hear it ALL the time, but however often I hear it...it's always wonderful, and I totally appreciate it! Strong? Attitudinally, yes. Very. And I'm quite pleased that I could provide you with motivation - whether it's about weight loss or returning to school..good luck in both ventures!

And, puh-leeeeez!! Do not apologize for being excited about beginning MF. If all of us weren't totally excited about MF we wouldn't even BE here! It is exciting. Just think...the package you await will change your life. It really, really will. If you let it. It's good that you are so excited in anticipation of its arrival. I'm excited for you, and can't wait to hear about all of your progress and successes!! Like DeDe always says: Let's do this together!!!

Im not necessarily depressed today but not too happy.Still waiting on my order, I know I keep whining about it. Its just I am so ready for this.I have that feeling, where I know that if it were here I would be hooked on it right away.I have the jones of motivation I get sometimes where I let nothing get in my way. Only this time I am going to have to learn how to keep that instead of letting my hard earned work goafter a month. I have been mentally preparing since my purchase. But I havent necesarily been watching what I have been eating this week...well maybe as I put it into my mouth but other than that...nope. ;)
Its just I see everyones success whether it be pants losening or .5lbs-3 or more lbs being dropped and wish I was in the pool with you all right now. So here I am impatiently waiting....I tell you...I am ready to be part of the MF team...

Todays Meals:
B-Strawberry Shake
S-Choco Mint Bar (yummy!) Unsweet tea
**LATER**
L- Beef Veggie Soup
S-Blueberry Oatmeal
D-Probably a chicken salad
S-Chocolate Pudding
Water,I will get more than enough.

Can't wait to see where i will be this time next week. :)

YAY, Taangrl !! Organizing your meals is a *great* idea and is suggested to aid in our success ! You are going to do great, I just know it. And, yes, you will be so surprised to see and feel the difference in a week.

One thing that helped me *a lot* was to also have specific times. My body and mind got well-trained that way. hee hee.. I feel like you are taking off for a flight and I want to remind you of all the safety features. Plus, well, I am bossy still . Just one more thing, remember your water ! That makes a *huge* difference.

Cheers and I will be thinking about you all day :). Remember, we are here for you :).
