WEEK 5- DAY 5

Well this morning hasnt turned out so well...I weighed in and have gained a pound?!?! Granted it will be that TOM in a few days so i guess that could be a factor.I am just dissappointed.Plus I have been compliant. Sometimes I wonder if I can make it though this.I have so much to lose.I dont know...I still have that block that I will not cheat.I honestly ransacked the kitchen...and there were things I could have had but I still said no.I feel the guilt consume me ,just thinking about cheating. So I didnt.I dont want any set backs.I just want to move forward....I am hoping this is just a "moment" for me right now. I will be going into my 6th week on Tuesday.I have come to far to lose it now.I refuse to gain the 16 (as of today 15 do to the 1lb gain) pounds, I have lost, back.I'm just bummed...

It happens. Go back and read my journal. I used to call myself MISS FLUCTUATE I went up and down so much in the beginning. I even posted a GRAPH showing all the ups and downs. Don't let that scale get you down and don't let frustration get you out of compliance. If we stay compliant we cannot NOT lose weigh. It may take patience but it will happen. Sometimes I see these people who lose 10 pounds in a week and I want to chop my head off. We are all different. Just don't lose faith. I know you can do it!

Thanks for the encouragement Biki. :)

Well, I decided to change my goal weight, for now,to my mid-way point goal. I think it's better to think about it that way.Thirty-nine is still a good chunk of weight to lose. But it seems more attainable for me to think short term right now.

I am still in a funk...but I am coming up with things to make that change...so off to think of some more. :)

Don't think too hard. Do something fun or lazy! Take a walk if you can. Is it sunny there? Or at least tolerable? Read some trashy magazines. I know US magazine has saved me from utter boredom many of times.

I have also gone through my cabinets and the fridge to take inventory of all the things I will NOT EAT! AAARGH! I don't know why we do that to ourselves, but take heart that we managed to get through it without scarfing down everything we find! You're doing great, keep up the good work!

Wow, Biki...you went from a couple of toes to your noggin'?? Isn't that a little drastic? Besides, according to that cute kid from the Jerry Maguire movie, the human head only weighs 8 lbs...

WEEK 6- DAY 1

I'm here Biki---> Thanks for the kind words everyone!

I know I havent been on as much. My life has been pretty much uneventful latley. Things are going fine MF wise.Sitting here at work having my chicken and rice soup.Today starts my 6th week. And I have 15 days left of my personal Valentines Day Challenge to try to lose my last 12 pounds...whether is happens or not, I like the challenge. And here's hoping I can accomplish it. A couple people at work noticed a change in my face.So thats good.My mom noticed a change in the back of my thighs/butt area...which I have noticed when I wear my jeans. And I noticed a few things here and there myself.Nothing drastic but enough to notice.

Off to read some other posts...catch ya's later. :)

It's great that you KNOW changes are happening. Sometimes it is hard to see for me because I am wearing the same clothes. When I wear something more fitted my husband definitely notices the difference-otherwise I just look king of baggy and black. He is so clueless ( I mean that in a nice way) if he notices it must be true.
