Strange NSV

Postby bdg » March 13th, 2007, 8:23 pm

I don't know if I ever expected this particular NSV, but I went and visited a client for the first time since probably the first of May 2006 and worked with them. When I arrived, their first reaction was "you're not my normal guy" and I responded saying yeah I am, and he came closer to shake my hand and introduce himself. After he introduced himself I reminded him who I was and he proceeded to totally freak out on me (not in a bad way). He then paraded me through the car dealership that we were shooting a commercial for to brag to everyone for me. He was totally impressed and everyone who I had worked with before at this lot was shocked and impressed. I can honestly say that this is the first time I have ever been paraded around as a "poster child" so to speak.

That's awesome Brian. Not only for following the plan, but for exemplifying all of the aspects of TSFL.

See, we get to be an example of Medifast everywhere we go, whether good or bad.

Brian ~ not only do you deserve to be paraded around...you ought to have your very own parade: marching band - 76 trombones - funny clowns in a small car - waving dignitaries - garishly decorated floats...the WORKS!!

I see Joelie twirling a baton, too!!

Brian,

Way to go!

I'm new (this time I'm on Day 3) but tried MF last year with good results (until I stopped? duh, don't ask me why). :?

I was so impressed with the transformation I saw on the boards of several MFers including you, your wife Joelie, and all the others. It really inspired me to try again! When I logged back on after several months and saw the new pictures, I was like "omigosh!!!!! Look at them!!!" I am so happy for you and all the other success stories out there. Isn't it great to have people staring at you for all the right reasons?

Brian, that was a pretty nice if not a tiny bit odd NSV :D . The man was obviously very impressed with your accomplishment and who knows how many people's lives you impacted that day. Congratulations again on your success!!

Thanks everyone, and I know it is a big loss, but I still have the body image issues and find it hard to believe myself most of the time.

The NSV continued today though when I got a call from that guy's boss in California. He had been told about the progress I had made and he called to get more information and congratulate me. He also told me that I needed to visit the dealership this weekend becausse several of the guys want to get on the program and they need information.

Interesting how word spreads, but I guess this is truly a global society nowadays.

Wow - just a normal day in your life and you may have made a difference in several men's lives. There are so many people out there who feel hopeless about their weight, and now you are helping others (of course you already were helping many, but now there are a few more!).

Brian it is not a strange NSV at all...what a great opportunity for those guys interested in the program...it must be harder for the men..especially if they are doing it themselves to know where to turn to lose weight.

Wow Brian! This NSV just keeps getting better and better. What an excellent example and role model you are being. Who knows how many people's lifes you are positively impacting with the success you've had from your diligence and hard work! These people are so fortunate to have gotten to see your success as you've done your MF journey.

Congratulations!!

Hey, you deserve it and I'll bet there was at least one person you met who was inspired to make a good change in their lives because of you! It could be losing weight or it could also be something else that they thought was too much of a challenge. No matter, I'm betting that you inspired them.
