I'm glad there are others like me who love the oatmeal. Alot of folks I talk to can't stand it. I try coaching them into the cookies and pancakes... so hopefully that helps them.

What do you guys do to make the oatmeal eatible. I've had it 2 of my four days on now...but finally resorted to the cookie recipe last night. But I love oatmeal for breakfast and would like to know the trick in fixing it so it's not like glue?

Is it not like glue for those of you who like it?

No, it's not like glue at all.
Sounds like you need to add more water,
but be careful...a little goes a long way.
Still, I'd rather it be runny than glue-like.
Yuck ~ no wonder you don't like it!

I usually have the apple cinnamon flavor,
to which I add a dash of saigon cinnamon
and a squirt of DaVinci SF caramel syrup.
Delish!!
Sometimes I add Splenda, too.
Good Luck!

Hi all...
Well day 4 is coming to a close. You guys are right, I am really beginning to like this stuff....LOL. Love love love the choco pudding and chili. I've been doctoring up my chili with some plain black pepper and a few sprinkles of chili powder and a tablespoon of pace salsa, been eating it 2x a day. I can't explain why, but the choco pudding is fabulous although I've been reading how some don't like it, I think it's grand...LOL I've been blending my shakes with ice for that "smoothie" texture, same thing for the Raspberry tea. I can't seem to make the Vanilla shakes taste all that great :( , a co-worker suggested adding diet cream soda, sounds interesting, I guess I'll try it before giving up completely on the vanilla. Still trying to figure out the oatmeal. :aarggh: I still find myself choking it down. Not so much for the taste, but the consistency. I can't seem to get it right!!! The best thing was when I got on the scale this morning. Already 1 & 1/2 pounds down, that was just after 3 days! :woohoo: So I'm doing it!!!!! I look forward to this journey, and I'm gald I found this board, you all seem like a great bunch of people. Take care!
