Just got an email from Spidey's family and he had another surgical procedure this week to evaluate the wound site and to clean his wound.

He is progressing! It looks like the infection is under control and he was moved to a larger hospital for a minimum of four days. When he does come home, he will have a nurse visit several times a week to keep her eye on the wound and to change the dressing.

Thank you for your prayers for him - he is a sick Spidey and they may have to postpone their vacation to St. Croix...

Spidey, I wish I lived closer to you. I am a home health nurse. I would LOVE to take care of you. Best thing to heal a wound is PROTEIN. Why don't you have a shake or two. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
