I get a terrible sour taste in my mouth every late afternoon which lasts all night. I thought maybe it was the soup, so I didn't have any soup this week... but the taste still appears.

It's not a metallic taste (I know what that's like), and not a sweet taste. It's what I imagine poop would taste like. Has anyone else experienced this??

Yikes!....almost TMI.....

Many people get a metallic taste when they enter the fat burning state.
Do a search on ketosis and breath.

Regular brushing (toungue also), SF breath mints or gum are about the only suggestion i can come up with.

Seems as though it subsides with most people.

But he/she specifically said it's NOT the metallic taste of ketosis. Is it connected with a dry mouth, maybe (in which case, drink more water)? If it continues, I'd suggest visiting your doctor or dentist.

My ketosis mouth didn't taste at all metallic. It just tasted bad and I had bad breath. I used sf mints and gum when needed.
