Hey Tammy!
You should post away, that's what the forum is here for.
I spent a good deal of time reading past journals of others when I 1st started. Also looked at the pictures . This always helped me when I wanted to eat and could not.

Keep drinking your water, the retaining h2o will get better.

Hi there!

Thanks for your reply! I appreciate the support. As a wife, mom, interpreter, I have a tendency to give a lot of myself (as all of us wives and moms know)...no complaints! However, there is a time in which we have to refuel all our parts - mind, soul and body. I have had a tendency in the past to forget to refuel, so I run on fumes! I'm finding that in my 30's I can't do that in the same way that I did in my 20's as an obese woman. I have a cousin who is only in her 40's and has both hips replaced due to obesity. My grandmother died at 42 from an obesity-related stroke. I have to be selfish and do it for me! So, if I type posts that appear that I have my horse blinders on, it is exactly that. I'm looking straight ahead and hoping that I don't run into anything! Hopefully, the track gets wider as my rear-end gets smaller! :)

Thanks again!

Well, TOM is here in full-force, but I'm still down another pound. I've made my first "9s" goal. I am praying for a WHOOSH next weigh-in!

In the words of Shania Twain, "Shake it, shake it!"

It's Thursday!! I'm able to see Saturday on the horizon! I love my job(s), mind you, but I'm looking forward to a day of rest. Hopefully, I'll be able to sleep a teensy-weensy bit later on Saturday. There's soccer, but it's not until Noon. Can you tell I'm romancing the thought?

The plan is going well--I haven't weighed in since TOM was here, but Monday is the next weigh-in for me. I feel like a machine plugging along...I hope that this mentality works for me...I typically over analyze everything!

Until next time...

Great job on the weight loss! And I con totally relate to the weekend thing. I have made a deal with hub that he sleeps in on Sat. and I get to sleep in on Sun. Just a bit tho. It's nice to have something to look forward to.

Thanks a bunch! I'm sticking to the program, however, I am not comfortable with the amount of L & G I'm consuming. I need to look at everything I'm eating (what, how much, etc.) I plan to start journaling Monday (in correlation with my new week / weigh-in) so that I can figure out how to tweek my program for optimum weight loss. I've got so many of those new Quick Start Guides that I can pull one apart to make a gazillion copies of the journal page. Then, I can put it in a nice binder of some sort. My homework for the weekend.

I'm a list-maker, so writing should be a piece 'o cake. Scratch that. A piece 'o oatmeal raisin bar. :)

It's Saturday! Time for rest and another soccer game. I'm down 2 more pounds today for a total of 15. My official weigh-in is Monday, so we'll see if I can get a little closer to my next "9s" goal...379.

Shakin' myself silly.....

Congrats on the loss. I am 1 pound over ticker and not too happy. May do a 6-0 today so I don't risk getting extra salt. I can handle no loss since I am close to goal and loss slows down then, but to post a gain... :x

Thanks! I know all too well how it stinks to post a gain. What I really hate is that my scale talks. It's a mixed blessing. I can't see my feet yet, so it's good that it tells me the weight. However, what I hate is that in the wee hours of the morning, there is a perky woman who is just too stinkin' happy and eager to bellow out my weight.... there are times that I think if it wouldn't wake the children, I'd shoot it with my hubby's pistol.

Well, I went out for "lunch" today with a dear friend who lost a little bit of weight on another weight-loss plan, but has gained it back. We went to a place that was an all-you-can-eat buffet. The second I sat down, I pulled my bar out of my bag and asked the waitress for a diet Dr. Pepper (one of life's little indulgences). She saw what I was eating, and immediately asked for a house salad with dressing on the side! She then launched into a myriad of questions about the plan...maybe she'll be my first customer since being back on program! I'm going to be a walking advertisement, and I CAN'T wait!! I hope to convert everyone I see into Medifasters!!!

Hi Tammy

Congrats on the 5 lbs so far. You already know tomorrow's going to be a great weigh in, huh?

I loved reading about your determination above. Spread the word girl! This program works!!
