It's a new day. A rough life in our household -- the finances thing caused a meltdown among the household members...almost caused a binge on hubby's part, but I think a crisis was averted.

I stuck to my meal plan yesterday with the exception of - I didn't have Mahi Mahi. I had 2 MSF Thai Burgers--they were yummy!!!

Here's my schedule for the day....

7:30a - Raspberry Tea
10:30a- Oatmeal Raisin Bar
12:30p- Raspberry Tea
3:30p- Cappucino Shake
6:00p- 2 MSF burgers and perhaps some cauliflower (gotta watch that lettuce intake!)
9:00p- Soup/Shake (Depends on what's readily available)

I forgot to add yesterday that I drink a 20 oz water with each supplement/meal. So, that makes an automatic 120 oz, not counting any in-between wa-wa.

:water:

Shakin' my way to a new me! Onward and downward!

Thanks! I have to make a revision to today's menu. I forgot it is Wednesday, which means church, which translates into a ridiculously easy dinner.

So, for dinner, I will have 1 cup of eggbeaters made into an omelette with 1/4 c. 2% shredded cheese and 2 oz of 1% cottage cheese, a couple of tablespoons of salsa and broccoli on the side.

I think I'm finally in the zone.

Also, I think using the Crystal Light packets messed me up over the last two weeks. I stopped using them Monday after only a 1-lb loss and dropped 4 lbs in 2 days. I also switched from regular fat cheeses to 2% or less (but not fat-free). I thought I would hate it, but I haven't noticed a huge difference except for the lack of grease when melted.

I say this carefully, but I'm enjoying myself!! I've turned ME into a project! I put on new pants this morning that I've never worn before, but I bought because "they were on sale!"

Isn't trying on something that's been hanging in your closet and it actually fits the best in the world!!!! My husband encouraged me to keep one pair of pants from my heaviest-ever, biggest size ever. I did and I'm so glad. A couple of times when I am feeling a little down or need an extra boost I try them on and REALLY see how far I have come!

Congrats on taking yourself seriously and working on being the best YOU that you can be! After all, we are made in the image of God...I personally want to put forward a great representation!

Amen, sistah! Right now, I have a distorted Fun-House image of God. I'll never be perfect physically, but I'm sure going to give it my best shot to get as close as possible!

Down another pound today....Hallelujah! I'm fighting a cold..wish I had something other than chicken noodle soup available. I haven't quite acquired a taste for it, however, I'm going to give it a shot again tonight. Maybe a sprinkle of garlic powder an S&P will make it tasty for me.

I had an old packet (not expired, but I didn't know I had it) of Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal and this time around, I love it!! I've got to get some on my next order. It was filling and helped me get over a hungry spot last night.

Jeremiah 29:11-14a has been on my heart the last few days. "11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity."

I'm clinging to the hope that I'm being led out of the captivity that this weight has brought me. I may have been a product of my own demise, but I believe that God is helping me out of this fat-laden jail I've created for myself. Now, of course, I know that the literal application for this scripture had other intentions, but I believe that it was illuminated to me for this purpose. I'm hanging on to it for this reason anyway. :)

Have a great shakin' day!

I hope you get to feeling better! When I'm sick I like the chai tea or cappuccino. Just kind of cozy and warm. Sometimes I put a little cinnamon on the top of it. Yum. Take care of yourself! You are doing great!

Why didn't I think of this?

Postby Signladytf » October 5th, 2007, 6:52 am

How about adding a chicken bullion cube to the chicken noodle soup..it'd be legal... I just read that several people did it in the Lean Cuisine forum. Why didn't I think of that??
