What else is new, it's always "just me!" I am freak. Card-carrying.

Thanks for confirming it, though, Robin! :-)

What I've been craving since I started the diet is:

Pizza... any kind lol
Turkey sub sandwich with tons of veggies (not horrible but still a no no)
and sometimes a cheeseburger

I think it's weird though because any other diet I've been on I've alway horribly craved cheeseburgers and this diet I really am not craving them much.

My commercial craving is the new commercial from Baskin Robins for their Reeses Shakes and Sundae's.

"What's wrong?"
"*snif* Mom said if I got an A we could go to Baskin Robbins for a Reeses shake"
(Dad changes the F to an A)
"See ya in the car!"

lol

My new obsession is fried chicken, cole slaw and mashed potatoes. I want the chicken extra juicy and greasy!

Haven't posted for a looooong while, still maintaining - deciding to go back to full MF for another 20 lbs.

Anyway - I ate 4 peanut M&M's yesterday - first time any candy of any kind has crossed my lips since 1/1/07 - my all-time obsession - there were times in my life I could eat a whole 1-lb bag in a day

guess what?? - they didn't even taste good!! Waaaay too sweet, and the coating had a distinct "chemical" taste (no doubt the food coloring)

So - maybe those things you think you miss, you don't really miss afterall - I won't be dreaming of "my M&M" (as the commercial goes) any more!!

Pizza, Pizza, Pizza....
I never even ate that much pizza, but now every time I see a pizza hut, or papa Johns, or Dominos commercial I have to change the channel. I won't even let my children have pizza, unless i am out of town or out for the evening. When I first started dieting, I gave up fast food, and have yet to have any fast food. In fact, the thought of mcDonalds kinda makes me sick. Maybe one day I will get that way with pizza? (I'm on maintenance now, have been for over a year, but know that one bite of pizza could be my downfall!)

CaribGirl, I had pizza soon after reaching maintenance. It was AWFUL. So doughy and greasy, I threw most of it away and my stomach was upset all night.

Since then, I've had it maybe twice more, but only from a place that makes one with a thin crust and not so much cheese and grease. And just a slice. When I tried to have two slices, I got way too stuffed.

This is very good information to hear!

Ever since I posted that I was craving Margaritas and nachos I have been wondering about it. I never ate nachos (but I have had my fair share of Margaritas!). The more I think about it the more I think it is more of a head trip than a real craving...wanting what I can't have...the other side of the hill is greener!

It is true I don't watch any commercials since 80% are about food. Mute please.

This has been a fun thread. Thanks Biki!

A really first class, top shelf cosmopolitan for me! I think it is more that I miss the atmosphere of sitting at my favorite pub with my friends, laughing it up, and throwing down a couple than the drink itself. Of course that usually comes with shared plate of something cheesy, fried, or crunchy. Somehow ice water or iced tea just isn't the same....even in the martini glass.

My saving grace is that I know I CAN have it at any time, but I CHOOSE to have something else, i.e., water....for now.
