I feel your pain! You can spend a boatload of money on a scale. To be honest, I was just looking for one that had ounces, didn't require batteries that required a separate trip to a different store and was fairly accurate. I think I got this at Target. It's a Taylor body fat analyzer and was about $39.

That's what I've got!

My husband just bought me a simple Taylor digital scale that measures to the half pound. He picked it up for me because I was tired of the wiggling traditional scale we had that I had to wake him up to read because my boobs were so big I couldn't read the numbers and tiny increments. I needed precision. I got that to a degree but will definitely be upgrading soon. Maybe one of the ones recommended here but I like those talking scales, especially when they have a lower number to say. I don't have many friends so it will be great to have someone else to talk to!

Very true, very true. I just want that little voice in the morning telling me I lost a little more. It won't give me the hugs and congrats that I get here though! Smooches!

I have a Dr's scale with the weights and balances. My mom bought it 20 years ago when she was on Optifast. I inherited it when I bought my house. It's not pretty and it takes up a lot of room but so far it's been very acurate. I have no idea how much it costs, but she said it was expensive at the time.

hmmmm.....that was pretty helpful. Good job Jen.

I bought one from this site. I LOVE IT! and it has been Very acurate! It is right on with my DH doctor's scale! I just replaced the batteries in it & we have had close to a year now. And it looks good in the bathroom too. :)
