:D Hello, everyone, I'm so glad I came across this website today! I've read a number of your posts, and, my, what a great group! You all are going to make this journey a great deal easier--and a lot more fun!

I began my program 5 days ago on, appropriately enough, 'Fat Tuesday'. So far, I've dropped 8 lbs. I've got 65 to go, but I have no doubt that it will happen.

Together, we can do anything.

Let's keep in touch.

Welcome to the Forum Landylue!!

THis is a great place to come for support!! I have been on the program for 27 days today. I do the full program and sometimes have a lean/green meal when I just need some food or go to dinner with friends or family. I make sure I have at least 3 shakes a day..and then have soup or chili or whatever meal replacements I feel like!! to total 5 supplements..and some days I even have an extra shake if im really hungry!!

For 25 days I followed this program to the "T"..untill last night..I normally get an enourmous appetite and craving for food just before AUnt Flo visits...and last night, being overtired and having a hard day...I overate...binged on the medifast bars, untill I was sick. And let me be the one to tell you...that this morning when I woke up...I felt HORRIBLE...guilty and just dissapointed. But today I have to start a new.
so when you feel the urge to CHEAT...DONT!! ITS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!!! I felt soooo good when I woke up in the mornings..no food hangovers...no guilt..just energy to go and I WILL NEVER GIVE THAT UP AGAIN!! the binge was not worth it....I would rather feel like I have the last few weeks...CLEAN!!! and on my way to my GOAL!!

so..here I go onto day #27...with a clean slate.
you will find that this forum will support you no matter if you mess up or do great...that is the beauty in it!! I couldnt do this without all my fellow shakers!!

Post as often as you can...youll find that sharing your thoughts and concerns here...really helps!! :D

Hello, Tamil, thank you for your response. Happy 27th day on the program! Thank God for new beginnings, huh. I know exactly what you are referring to, though, when you wake up with overwhelming guilt over what you've eaten the day before. Not too many things feel as bad as when we think we have failed at something time and time again. However, failure is NOT in the falling, but in the not getting up. You keep getting up, Tamil, and that is exactly what it takes.

The slate is wiped clean, my friend. You CAN do this!

Welcome Landylue - I look forward to seeing your journey. It'll take time but the way you feel during the process - like TamiL said, clean - really helps me to stick with it. Nothing like feeling in control and guilt-free when it comes to food!

Keep us posted on your wins and your struggles - we are here for you.

I WONDERED why there was that weird post just above mine (which someone has since removed). This is what I get for never reading the dates on posts. Well, wherever Landylue and TamiL are, I wish them well. Perhaps I'm losing brain cells instead of pounds.

Those evil spammers aren't fooling me this time! Weird how it's the same thread, though, isn't it?
