Ready to eat Essential 1 meals??

Postby shortgirl » July 11th, 2005, 9:32 am

Can anyone tell me are these the same as a shake or are they to be used as 5 and 1 protein?? I can't seem to find anything on this on the packets or on the forum. Maybe I just haven't searched far enough. Thanks for any info. Judy from Iowa

Martha,

I ordered them and thought they tasted very good. I do believe both have pickle relish, which some people don't like.

The tuna smells a little fishy to me, but I have placed another order.

My husband fixes himself a salad with all the Medifast approved proportions and then opens the Tuna salad or the Chicken salad and scoops it on top of the salad for his dinner at night.

He also chops up an extra dill pickle and puts it in the pouch and eats it.

It is a quick and easy evening meal which both of us love......

To my tastebuds, they taste pretty good. I prefer the Chicken Salad.

The Essential 1 Chicken and Tuna Salad have low fat mayo and some itsy bitsy teensy weensy bits of red pepper, water chestnuts, and relish.

I think they both taste great with a chopped dill pickle added.

If you are at work, on a plane or in a hotel room and don't have a chopped pickle in your purse or briefcase, then a major shaka-shake of salt and peppa really makes a great improvement.
