The GREAT news is my birthday incentive dress fits me!! I bought this dress in July and thought I would never be able to wear it. I tried it on yesterday and, TA DA! It fits and looks FAB U LOUS!!!
My husband is really pleasantly surprised at the number of changes I have made in my life. Yesterday after dinner I told him I had to take my walk. He looked at me and said “Who are you and what have you done with my wife?!” We both went on the walk and it was fun to walk and talk together. He used to ask me to go walking all the time and I NEVER went. I just didn’t have the energy and would be embarrassed when I started huffing and puffing along the way. Now, I want to walk even farther than he does. It is very hilly here and it is a really great workout for both of us. He said his doctor will be very pleased that he is getting more physical activity because he has been nagging him about it for the last two years. He is very trim and has always been very slim and trim. He has the WORST eating habits and I have started some small tweaks to the meals we have together (no more fast food when he is with me). He is loving it! When I told him my gym schedule I think he almost passed out
He is very supportive of my new eating & exercise plan. I went through my closet again yesterday and have another huge box of donate items. It is very motivating when cloths that fit me a month ago are too big to wear in public now. It keeps me on plan and helps me keep up my exercise program. The only thing that sucks is some of my shoes don’t fit me any more. I have a very special relationship with my shoes and it is almost impossible to say goodbye to any of them. Maybe because when none of the cute clothes would fit I could always find a pair of FABULOUS shoes that would.
