I am a wreck about it because I am not prepared for how she will look and act but we are going and my daughter's needs to see her as well. I told her the situation and she pretends to understand -she will be 6 at the end of Aug :) we will do OK though thinking about flying with her makes me nervous! We will only stop one time each way so that will help and I will work the entire time while there to keep the $$ coming in...we are still waitng on DH's unemployment - they had 45 days to make a decision on his appeal and it will be over either way next week. Our "landlords" aka BIL and SIL (though "related" they may as well be strangers) have given us a cut-off for eviction, so will be an interesting month or so...

I left you a note in my journal, I hope you read it. You certainly have a lot going on now both emotionally and financially. You seem to be taking it on very courageously. Still, I hope you have a support system (other family members, church, community) that can help you through this difficult time. Be assured of my prayerful support, Patty.

Hello -

Thanks so much for the kind wishes. SO glad to see Biki back :)

I would love to join the challenge but I will be leaving in 3 weeks to care for my mother, while I also watch my daughter and working 8 hrs each day - should be interesting :)

I will be in control of my day and just take it one day at a time ... of course wishing all the time that I started the program long ago :(

Thank you all for stopping by...

I need help and I am so  about it...I had a great start even with all the chaos ... I thrived on the momentum of one good day after another. And then it all came to a crash :(

I haven't been on the scale and won't for a while...I am leaving in 2 weeks to take care of my Mom who has brain cancer with my daughter who is almost 6. While there I am expected to work my 8 hrs so I can still have money coming in even though the eviction on our apt will be final in August sometime. My DH will be home and not sure where he will be when I get back...funny thing is the "evictee's" are my so-called BIL and SIL..from hell actually :x These are stupid reasons because when it is all said and done, I still have to deal with my weight.

Where first I was SO sorry I didn't start sooner...but worse still, I am wasting the time I have left...

Just very :( and want to :hide:

I will get over it and move on but needed to post...

Patty, I'm sorry you got off-program, but you can get right back on again if that's what you want. Sometimes we have to decide where our heart lies. I know the quote-unquote 'right' thing to do is get back on and be compliant. But with everything else that is happening for you, if you're going to struggle on-program and consequently feel guilty about it or beat yourself up, maybe it's best to wait. MF will always be here for you - it should not be another hassle for you at this time in your lives.

If you decide to be compliant, you will be. I know - I've been told that many times and so many excuses popped up in my head just upon reading those words - but it really is true. When you want it, you'll do it. If you don't want it, there's nothing to feel bad about. The program, and we, will be waiting for you without judgment.

Good luck, hang in there, and whatever you decide, own it and be proud that you are taking care of yourself in the best way for you!

Patty, I'm glad you've come back and look forward to reading how you've been since you left to be with your mother for awhile.
