Hi Patty, thinking of you and hope you are adjusting to things as well as can be expected now. Thank you so much for the kind words you extended to me in my journal...they really meant alot. You are in my prayers for the "peace and comfort" only God can give in the loss of your mom.

Take care Patty..

Hi Patty, I just wanted to say thanks for stopping by my journal and for the kind words you shared about my journey with MF. So glad to see you are getting back on track with everything. I know with the loss of your mom, things had to be difficult and probably still are. Be sure to address that grief so that you don't turn to food instead.

Blessings to ya!

I am still here and very compliant - I am so proud of myself though have had thoughts of "sugarplums dancing my head" etc :) I visit a few other boards - some medifast and some not - and feel like I am the only person in the world who is complaint! :( Kind of an outcast I guess - but in a good way. Haven't been posting much - trying to get back into the routine. Trying to focus on taking care of myself but the emotional side of the holidays is getting to me and both my sister and I are suffering with the recent death of my Mom. I guess we just went through too much so fast to "get over it" and I know I never will. I have her wedding ring on my ring finger with my own and both the ring and my Mom are my "anchor"...a WW term that helps my focus...

Kind of a babble post...will go now and visit other's journals...

Thank you everyone for visiting me and your support - I look toward an incredible year for 2008 for us all! Love you all!

Patty-I didn't think you babbled at all. I am glad you are compliant and you aren't the only one but holidays are very difficult for some people with big famly affairs. I am very proud of you for staying compliant even while dealing with the death of your mother. My father died in September of 2002. I was in the hospital when he died and my mother chose not to have a funeral since he had been in a persistant vegetative state for 8 years. And it took me years before I could put a picture of him up it hurt so much to see his face. It gets easier then it gets harder then easier again. I guess it will be that way forever. I hope you feel a bit better once the holidays pass. I have been depressed myself. Sleeping way too much and feeling lonely. Best wishes.

Thanks for stopping by Mike and Biki - kind of took the week off from posting but still staying compliant. Using it as a focus to get out of a bit of depression.

Biki - I am so sorry  maybe we can help each other? Please let me know - my Dad suffered severly from depression and committed suicide 30 yrs ago - when I was 15 so it is a fmily thing. It was a different time of course with little information around.

Will go post my weightl oss and try and and get my act together here!

 everyone!

I am very sorry to hear about your father. That is quite traumatic. My grandmother died of cirrhosis of the liver when she was 51 and I was 9 and I just wonder why the doctors didn't send her to AA or get her help. Different times...I hope you will PM me if you would like to chat! I am actually feeling better than I was a few days ago.
