4 packets of Cream of Broccoli

Postby Ketann » May 29th, 2006, 9:07 am

I have 4 packets of Cream of Broccoli. Expire 9/2007. I can only take diabetic approved food. That includes:

Diabetic shakes or bars (any flavor)
Oatmeal (any flavor)
Tropical Punch
Cranberry Mango
Chicken Noodle
Minestrone
Chili
I will send these out 2 day priority to whoever will trade.

Hi Keturah,

I'm diabetic also, but if I remember correctly, Cream of Broccoli IS okay for diabetics. In fact, when I first started I ordered the 4 week Diabetic pack and Cream of Broccoli soup was included in the package.

Of course, if you just don't plain like the taste, that's another thing.

Take care.

Thanks for posting Carmel. I decided to not trade and try this soup again. I added low sodium chicken boulion, garlic and onion, then blended with the water in my magic bullet (I love my bullet). I think my problem has been not being able to get it mixed with the water good enough, cause the consistency came out perfect in the bullet. Anyway, I heated it on the stove and added some crushed red pepper. It was delicious. Medi food is a learning experience :).

Glad to hear you gave it a second chance. C of B was one of my favorites when I first started, but then again, I started "adding" pepper and chicken boullion to it after the first sip! I'll have to try my magic bullet to mix it up. It does on occasion get kind of lumpy. Thanks for the idea.
