Hey Steph!

Ditto to everything Lauren said. She knows exactly what she is talking about. She followed the plan 100% to the tea and has gotten fabulous results. This is a simple plan that has taken any quess work out of the equation. That's why we love it!

You're next few weeks will be less dramatic as far as numbers on the scale, but you will lose consistantly 1-5 pounds per week if you follow the plan. Some weeks will be more loss than others. You're body needs time to adjust, so even if you don't see a loss on the scale, believe me, there are magical things going on inside!

You are doing great! Keep shakin'!

Thanks so much for the info. WOW, you lost a whole lot of weight on the program. What an inspiration to all of us!

Regarding your reponses, I was thinking the same about the pills but when I saw several peoples notes I thought that it should be something that I consider. However, based on your info, and my intuition, I will not be doing the pill thing.

Im also glad to hear that I can do a combination of any 5 of the medifast meals. I 'll probablly stick to 1 shake a day...Do you suggest taking multi-vitamins?

Tomorrow will be my 1 week anniversary on the program. So far I have went from a 258 starting weight down to 245 today. I was really sad this morning when I went to weigh myself and was only down .5 pounds. I think Im not eating enough protein for my lean and green. I am going to try to weigh my protein tonight to ensure that I get enough in.

I am so thankful that Christy introduced me to this. I feel great. Actually to be quite honest, the fat on my belly has become really jiggly. I just had a baby 8 weeks ago, however since the start of the program, my belly fat is really soft its weird... Perhaps its getting itself ready to lose more weight! Has this happened to anyone?

Regaring the spritzer salad dressing. How much is the max that we are allowed to spray on our salad? Im going to buy some today and dont want to overdo it.

According to the package a serving is 10 sprays.

I dont think Im shy at all. I just think that in high school I was not a magnet for friends or anything. We all knew each other, but I only had several "close" friends that I hung out with.

I'll tell you what my doctor said. He didn't put me on Medifast, but I told him I was doing it and he's looked at the nutrition information on the packets and said if you're young and pretty healthy there's no need for additional vitamins.

Jan on this forum also told me about the possibility of toxicity from build-up of fat soluble vitamins (A,K,E,D I think?). For six months I was on plan and took a prenatal vitamin/mineral every day, and suffered no ill effects, but I stopped taking them about 2 months ago and I haven't seen that it's made any difference.

If you just had a baby, though, maybe if you're breastfeeding you would need them? Don't know if it's OK to breastfeed on plan or even if you're doing that. That's all I know on the subject. :)

Wish I could say that I was breast-feeding but unfortunatly I am not due to my polycysticovary syndrom. Aparently I dont produce any milk.

I've never taken any multi vitamins only those prenatal ones when I was pregnant, so I think I will just revert back to the old ways and not take any at all.

Thanks for the advice.

Just FYI, no, its not recommended to be on plan and breastfeed (although I know you aren't, so its okay.) ;)

I am feeling a little sad, but nothing to make me quit. I have done really good on the program thus far, but the last few days have been a little downer. I think Im obsessed with the scale. When I wake up in the morning its the first thing I think of, I rush to the bathroom, potty, and then hop on to see how much I have lost. Well, a few days ago, I went from 245.5 upto 246.5. I gained a whole pound and I dont know why. I spoke with Christy on the phone and we came to the conclution that it was prob because I was not eating enough protein for my lean and green. Of-couse when I weighed in the next day, I had stayed the same. I dont know why the number has not gone down.

I told myself that I think I am going to weigh myself only 2 times a week, however this morning what did I do? Jump on the scale. It said that I had lost about 2 pounds, but later in the afternoon when I jumped on it again, I was back up to 245. I think I need to put the scale in the closet and take it out on Thursdays and Sundays. THoughts?
