Isn't it amazing how you start to become so "close" to the people here?? I find myself referring to people on the forum as "My friend so n so" and then my hubby says "WHo" and I say "You know, so n so from the diet forum". I love it here, too.

I love it here, too. Other people don't always understand how I can call all these people my friends even though I've never met them.

And I appreciate that even when we do disagree, it's always done respectfully and doesn't degenerate into nastiness. I've seen that happen on other boards.

I totally agree. I've always been the "fat friend" so I never had a close friend who completely understood how it feels to be overweight.

This board is a vital component of my MF plan!
