OFF TOPIC AGAIN: Update on my dad

Postby Jeanette » March 15th, 2004, 7:25 am

Thank you for all your great thoughts and prayers. I am happy to report that my dad is home from the hospital as of yesterday (Sunday!). Here's hoping he will continue to improve.

Hi jeanette,

Glad your Dad is back home and doing well. I'm sure he's glad to be home, too. I'll keep sending prayers his way for a speedy recovery.

It's very stressful having a loved one in the hospital. My Mom was just in the hospital with heart problems and I know how it feels.

I saw that you posted that you plateaued. The stress with having someone you love sick and in the hospital has a great effect on weight loss. Hang in there-it'll correct itself.

Great News! I know your feeling much better now. We'll keep the prayers coming for your Dad and of course throw in several for you! Oh Heck just give him a big ole hug from all of us and let him know we're glad he's home :D

Jeanette ~

Woo Hoo, Lord for helping you and your Daddy to this place. Home is a VERY good place to be.

We are grateful to hear how you are doing and to know that your Daddy is improving. We will continue to pray for his recovery and for YOU, dear dear Jeanette.

My parents are recovering still (and so am I from the MAJOR scare from their illnesses.) and adjusting to how life is now that they have both had major surgeries.

So happy that SPRING days are here - the dark days of winter had their affect on my parents - a little bunch of cheery daffodils makes their eyes light up and remind them that they are loved and they are special. Wish I could send you a bouquet of :rose: roses to cheer you up, Cyber Friend! :rose: :rose:

Say "hello and howdy doody" to your Daddy for us. xxxooo
