Oatmeal to get rid of!

Postby BrownIdGirl » December 6th, 2006, 7:03 am

I can't escape the dreaded oatmeal! I have two boxes of apple cinnamon and 1 box of blueberry. I'd love to get pudding or beef stew or any of the drink mixes (esp Cran Mango) for them.

I don't like the stew. I have 1 box; I have 5 packets banana pudding and 2 tropical punch if you like that. Can trade for 2 boxes apple cinnamon.

I am having the stew for the first time in about 10 minutes. It is sitting covered right now...the anticipation is building....

Sorry you don't like it. I love it, have it every morning. Do you ever add sweeteners to it. I find a pump of SF Caramel or English Toffee helps them both. Sometimes just a packet of splenda does the trick.
Anyhow, good luck.

Even doctored up, oatmeal is blah!

Postby BrownIdGirl » December 10th, 2006, 5:54 pm

I tried using the SF syrup to flavor up the oatmeal. It worked for awhile but I just can't get over the texture of it. I like regular oatmeal and I have tried adding more water, less water, more flavor, Splenda, etc, but nothing does the trick. Whenever I try to force it down, it just makes me gag - so I need to move on to something that I like.
