Now the hard part....

Postby last25 » February 26th, 2007, 7:32 am

Hi All, I made it through the 1st 3 days no problem. Today is my 4th day and I woke up STARVING. This is usually my cycle. I follow a "diet" for a few days, then I chow on everything.

Maybe check your eating schedule. Remember not to have your last medi-meal too early or you risk feeling hungry when you get up. Plow through, it might be the 4th day that is the more difficult and things will be better tomorrow.

Thanks Mike, and congrats on your success. I'm going to brave the elements outside and keep busy until my next meal. Amy

Amy, I'm sure you've seen Nancy's mantra that "nothing tastes as good as thin feels". Here's another. Don't sacrifice the thing you want the most for the things you want right now. Works for me! :D

Amy~ Actually for me, the first week was difficult. Once I made it past that.....things have been much better. I'm going on week 8 now.

Honestly, I occassionally struggle with being hungry, but generally........I have found that when I think I'm hungry......I'm actually bored or watching TV. (both trigger times for me to eat).

Hang in there.......it is SO WORTH IT!!!

I started last Tuesday and I have to say I haven't been hungry, if anything I find it hard to fit in the last meal. I'm also trying not to eat so late at night so some meals wind up being 2 1/2 hours instead of 3. Overall so far I'm happy I made the decision to try. I decided right from the start that I would take one day at a time but I would stick with it at least for five weeks and then make the decision on whether to continue.
