I figured I'd introduce myself to those of you that don't know me.
My name is DeDe and I lost over 100lbs on Medifast. I was within 12lbs of goal. I fell off the wagon, then had some health problems. I went from 160 to 181. I'm done with my medication that was balooning me up and just finishing my first day 100% back on plan.
Unca, could you please put me back to the 50lb club...I'm currently at 55lbs lost. To everyone I don't know yet, hello, nice to meet you. To all my old friends...I'm BACK! Missed you terribly! Let's finish this...together!
Okay, my plan. First, to complete 3 days. I find I do better with mini-goals to reach (and rewards too!). My first mini-goal is to weigh less than my driver's license says...175. My second mini-goal is to go from overweight to a bmi of 24.9 (173). Then we'll go from there. DeDe

I am the happiest to have you back on track and on the boards encouraging everyone with your wit and wisdom.
Now that your health issues and whatever is over, you are here for us and all the new folks that you are just now meeting!

Welcome Back!

Hi Dede!

Well, I certainly never expected for ME to be welcoming YOU back---and I just got back. You've definitely been an inspiration to me. The last I read of you, you were trying to quit smoking and that was the hurdle. How's that going, by the way? Sorry to hear about the meds but I definitely believe you'll be back on track in no time.

Speaking of . . . you said you'd be home all month. Do you notice a big difference between HOW you follow Medifast or different triggers you might have when you're at home vs. when you're on the road?

I have and I was just wondering about you, even though you travel way more than me,

I've DEFINITELY noticed that the plan is easier for me to stick to on the road than home, but that's mostly because I don't have anything to do when I'm at home.

Quitting smoking is going well. I'm just finishing up day 8. I'm on plan, just eating more than I should of what we're allowed. I'm finding the nice balance between keeping myself from smoking WHILE keeping on program. I'm getting close to the exact right mix and my mantra is now goal by New Year's Eve!

Thanks for thinking of me!
