Postby GucciGoo » May 2nd, 2006, 4:05 am

Do I have to do my 5 medifast prducts before dinner? Or can I save my bar for after dinner when I get my sweet cravings?

Thanks!

Hi beachbaby,

You don't have to have all of your supplements in by dinner time. Many times, I don't have my last one until 10:00 or 11:00 pm. However, they say it's not a good idea to have a bar as your first or last supplement. A health advisor may chime in here to give you the reasons.

I usually have my bar mid afternoon when I tend to get tired. It really picks me up.

Nope, don't have the bar first thing in the morning or last thing at night, everything else is just peachy. Dr. Anderson said the best time for the bar is in the afternoon, when you are the busiest so you use up those extra carbs.

Hi Beachbaby! You can have any of your meals in any order that works best for you. Although it is recommended to have your bar mid-day (for calorie burning reasons) hubby and I have had ours in the evening from time to time with no ill effect.

Hi There,
It really depends upon your own metabolism. Some people can get away with having a bar as their last meal. But others of us -- me included -- get such a carb push from it that we can't sleep. The same thing happened before MF if I went after cookies in the evening. The best time to have the bar is in the mid afternoon. I generally had mine at about 3:00 when I had the droopys and needed a push.
