Hi Lori,
I fought all month for this 15 lbs I lost this month! I'm also at a bunch of superbowl parties and there's munchies EVERYWHERE! I know right now, that I want to be at goal this summer and I remember what those things taste like, nothing's worth me risking putting a maintaining medallion on my signature! That's me!

What you do is your choice, you're doing so well! But after gaining my weight and telling myself EVERY WEEK, I'll start again Monday...I know I couldn't for MONTHS!

I know it's a cliche, but it's really true that nothing tastes as good as thin feels! I just KNOW it's our year! I WILL regain my health, I WILL regain my confidence and want it WAY more than that stuff on the buffet table!

Whatever you decide, I'll be here to CHEER you on!

Hi ! Mind if I chime in here? Restarting is SOOOO HARD !! A superbowl party will come and be gone...You have done so great so far ! Again it's your choice but remember what your doing this for -YOU !!!!

Perhaps ...reward yourself with a different reward that is not food related !

Just a suggestion !

Good Luck !

Lori, I would suggest you stick with program and do not go off of it. I've had a horrible time with sticking to program for months now and it all began after I started having nibbles and bites of off program foods. Those nibbles and bites did not affect my weight loss so I 'graduated' to having a whole off program item and serving which led to more and more times of having something off program. My weight loss has stalled so many times that I'm ashamed of myself along with the struggle of getting my mindset and focus back.

Your experience may not be like mine........but I just wanted to warn you of the possibilty that you could lose your momentum and focus if you make the choice to go off program.

I hope you have an enjoyable weekend!

I know the right thing, or I could just eat what I want and start over Monday, i'm already wanting some chocolate soooooo bad. Just something sweet, pecan pie? ... I could you know.

Yeah we all could, now couldn't we? I have a superbowl thing tomorrow too. You know what? I could just start over Monday too. Unfortunately, i have previously let too many Mondays come and go that's why i got to the point where i was. Just think about it and an honest answer to yourself is that it is not worth it.

Hey guys,

Just dropping you a note. I have been bad. But I have seen my evil ways. Yea, I know, Iv'e heard that before. Well, I know now that medifast is probably the diet for me, but I can not do it alone.

My hospital that I work at has started a new diet program HMR, it is VERY similar to MF but I will be under a doctor's care and accountable to a room full of people, that I know and work with, for weight loss each week. I went today for a meeting and got to taste the product, I hate to say it but it is delicious. I'm sorry Nancy, I don't mean to be plugging for another company, you have been nothing but supportive, but I still don't have to look you in the eye every week.

You take vitamin pills with your meals, its not mixed in so they don't have the mineral taste to them. Also the entrees are not freeze dried, they are like nutrisystem, shelf safe. Not bad either.

Suppose to loose 60 pounds in 13 weeks on the strict diet. I will see, maybe unc wouldn't mind posting an after picture.

I feel like a traitor, but I feel this is what is best for me. Take care everyone, I'll be checking in on you.

Just want to say that although MF is great if something else is working for you all that matters is your getting healthy and that is what it is really about, I dont think your pluggin for another company and maybe just maybe you'll promote MF while in your meetings :goteam:
