I don't know if this is good or bad. I weighed before I got started tuesday, (I know, a day later than planned) with working nights and flip flopping it is hard to gauge when to eat what. But anyway, I weighed and I was up 7 more pounds! Bad side more to loose, good side, at least I won't weigh in next sunday thinking I had gained.

With working nights and flip flopping my hours, I decided not to count meals but if I am up I will eat every 2.5 to 3 hours.

Hopefully that was 7 pounds of water from eating salty cheetos my last week. lol

You posted some fantastic news in MY journal, but not yours!

I have been miserable. Fatigue, malaise, depression. Dr. started me on some diuretics and I have been peeing like a horse. I weighed this afternoon when I got up and I have lost 22 POUNDS OF WATER!!! I knew it was possible, we do it to our post op heart pt's all the time. But Wow! I feel better than I have in a year.

I just had to share this with someone. Thanks for being there.

I have A good feeling about this this time around.

What fantastic news! Do you feel SO much better? I'm so happy for you! I have a good feeling about this time for us too!

Hi journal, I wanted to explain my loss. I have lupus and had a major flare up in december and had to double my prednisone. Been blowing up like a balloon ever since. pitting edema in my legs all the way up to my thighs. Wheezing, fatigue, unable to breath hardly. That's why I restarted medifast. Either that or get really really sick. I have also been on diuretics this week. I am glad to report no more cankles!
The official loss as of today is 23 pounds. Boy wouldn't it be nice if the rest was as fast as this .... right!

I expect another big week next week, still have some water retention.

As to the meals....Chynna....I did medifast 2 years ago (with DD) and lost 50 pounds in 2 months. due to mother's illness and untimely death got off program and never restarted. I already knew I hate almost everything. I can drink the RTD's but not the powdered shakes, I eat the chocolate pudding and the hot chocolate. That is 95 % of what I use. But it's not bad. The lean and green keeps me going.

I found a new salad dressing that is to die for. Kraft Lite Asian toasted Sesame dressing. It is fine....

I also tried out that soy marinade that was posted in lean cusine with the miso, garlic, and splenda and used alittle of it in some stir fry....wonderful

tata for now.

Loribug,
I'm just so happy you're feeling better! Have you updated your ticker? Care to join us on the 100 day challenge? It starts tomorrow!

I'm glad you found a dressing and marinade you like. I have new dressing friends too. Have you tried those wishbone salad spritzers? I LOVE them! I even put a little spray on my steamed veggies, not just on salad days!

Here's to another big loss this week! Let's do this!

Hey De,

This asian dressing only has 60 cals per 2 oz, but it is tart so you don't need that much, they also make a balsalmic vinegrette that is only 25 cals.
What is the 100 day challenge?
