Is there a calorie limit for this meal?

Good morning! :)

In the Quick Start Guide, pg. 6, it says "Reach Your Goal: By creating a delicious, satisfying and nutritious menu of 800-1,000 calories a day, the 5 & 1 Plan brings quick and steady weight loss."

So... depending on what supplements and snacks you are having for your 5, I'd guess about 300-500 calories for your Lean & Green. As long as you keep your total cals for the day at 1,000 or lower.

I never paid attention to the calories as long as I was sticking to the guidelines. I know that on days when I had salmon or steak I went over 1000 calories, but it didn't effect my weight loss at all. I also had a bar every single day that I was on the 5&1 plan.

A guy here.
This topic was brought up in the Nurses call on Dec 5.
According to the splendid TSFL Nurse Lorie Anderson:

Information on your Lean and Green meal
- 300-380 calories
- 80 of these calories are green

Personally, I find that to be on the low side given that the supplements are 100 calories (160 for the bars). If you add in the calories for any "extras" and the snack (soy crisps are 50 calories), then thats about right. You might be able to go to about 500 if you have pickles instead of soy crisps or something like that though.

So, hope this helps.

What kind of dressing are you using? 455 sounds like alot of calories to me.

What a beautiful avatar taan! I forgive you for your somewhat poor dressing choice just based on your beauty. I have told everyone how superficial I can be and there I go again!
