That's in the Catskills right? I live down state from there...closer to Syracuse, in Ithaca...not sure if you've heard of these cities.

Last night went well and the day was uneventful. Its been great because I haven't been hungry in between my meals and managed to get all my shakes in. I also have been planning ahead so that I stay compliant....wow does that feel good and then to weigh in today and was 9# down, made it feel even better. Have to work tonight at the bar...its Wing Night, one of my downfalls, but I have a plan to eat a good meal (L&G of course) and drink water while I'm there....it seems when I drink diet coke it gives me the munchies. Will let you know how it went tomorrow. Wish me luck!

You can do it Kels! Just remember how dignified it looks NOT to be sucking on small bones and having orange greasy fingers in public!

Hi Kelli~I hope your day is going well. I want you to know I am really going to be watching you :cateye: and I want you to watch me as well. It seems like we both have and have had the same struggles. I know we can do this Kelli! :buddies: I can't wait to see the after photos of both of us. I agree the after photos of these wonderful folks are so inspiring. I keep them in my mind as well. Sometimes I get angry :x at myself because if I hadn't take a year long detour :drive: I would already have an after photo and a maintenance photo and a look at me now photo. But, what's done is done.

We will succeed!

I grew up in Brooklyn. We city people consider upstate to be the Catskills area I guess. I've been in your area- my friend's brother went to Binghampton and we have visited him there.

Donica - you can count on it....I'll be watching you! :shades:

Beth - I love when people from the South say "you don't sound like your from New York?" They think everyone comes from the city...I love the city, wish I was a city girl...maybe in my next life.

I had a successful wing night. I drank about 40 ounces of water and stayed away from the most delicious wings in town. :patting myself on the back: Also, the other bartender always wants me to do a couple of shots with her and she gives me a hard time when I tell her no, so she made me one and I put it to my lips and when she wasn't looking I poured it down the sink! That's one way to do a shot! Actually, she asked me if I would do another one with her (because she says she feels lopsided) and I just told her no. I got on the scale again this morning cuz today is an actual week and I was down another 1.5, but I'm not going to record it until Sunday because I want to get on schedule with all my fellow losers! So even after wing night I'm down.

I have been getting tons of water in so I think that is helping me and have gotten all my shakes in. I've really been just sticking to the shakes and nothing else. I'll start adding something different when this stops working.

Actually I don't think that is a stupid thing to say at all. At least you are thinking about whether it's worth it or not to cheat. I think that is a true sign that your mind is where it needs to be. :bravo: Bravo to you QT!

Kelli~ I too am impressed you overcame WING night! You are a rock!!!!! (There's no ROCK emoticon!) Oh wait....... :yourock: That's close enough! :D
