Hey T,

Thanks for your concern. I have been in Super Mom mode for the past 2 weeks. I have been off program but have not gained anything :D/ With Baseball and going to The shore to pick up new restaurant business. It has been hectic. I have been checking the boards. I just have not had anytime to write anything.

Glad you're back and didn't gain any weight. I am sure I wouldn't be able to do the same. There is too much food out there with my name on it.

Katie~ I just wanted you to know I was thinking about you yesterday. I know it must have been a difficult day for you, also. Just know you were in my thoughts.

I'm glad to hear from you again. I understand you're busy, but we really do miss you!

Hi everyone,

So I restarted Medifast on Monday. Did great. Was on the road yesterday. Did awful. I actually went to see my moms gravesite. I did not get to see it on Mothers day. It is about an hour away. I was really sad when I left there. I actually called my father when I was leaving and told them that they are not keeping up on the gravesites. Like weeds were coming out of everywhere. I told my father I was going to give them a piece of mind. He talked me out of it. He knows when It has to deal with my mom I get very emotional. He said that he would call. But anyways after I left I stopped off at a quick check to get a diet coke. And that was the end for me. I saw Maple Brown Sugar Pop tarts. I ate them and loved it. Then I hated it. Then I got home had a slice of pizza. I loved it. And then hated it. Why am I doing this. Why. I literally cried myself to sleep last night. Why do I keep giving up? I started program again this morning. I guess I will have to do one day at a time.

Any help would be great. I am thinking about looking into an over eaters program. I dont know. Wish me luck.
Katie

Katie, don't beat yourself up over eating off program. It really doesn't do any good and the negative thoughts just make things harder.

You had a horrible day yesterday but today is the start of a great day.

You'll be in my thoughts today.

Sending you my best!

Dear Katie,
That was yesterday, a new day is here. Yesterday afternoon, driving home, I listened to Sting's Brand New Day. What a great song See if you can find it.
Youve come far, keep going sweetie.
best,

Katie, you KNOW that you can do this. 40 pounds is nothing to sneeze at! Just take it three hours at a time and remember what you want most. Not a Poptart but to be healthy and thinner.

So I am 5# up. I guess it does not help when you go out to a Thai French restaurant :bib: I love thai but the sodium kills me. But guess what I am okay with it. So I have to change the 204.4 to 209.4.

I am really motivated right now. I weighed in yesteday and saw that number and I was okay with it. Funny thing is my husband took the scale away from me last night. He said he will give it back every sunday morning. (he caught me weighing myself every 2 hours) is that so bad  He knows how I am. That i will get depressed if the number does not go down. He also told me do not go out and buy a new scale because he will find it. (gosh he knows me better then me). Thats why I love him. He is very supportive of this diet.(even though he can not stand the smell).

So 29 days until my B-day. I can not wait for some reason. Maybe knowing that I will be in the 1's for my birthday makes me that excited for it. And then my whole family is coming the first week of july. Woo hoo party time. (medifast for me of course).

Work is actually going really well. Even after losing those 2 huge accounts, I still have the motivation to go out and get new accounts.

Also forgot to tell you My son is watching what he is eating ( he is only 8 ) he lost 2 pounds. He is a big guy 113# and 56" tall. There is no junk food in the house. Only fruit, lowfat popcorn and yogurt. He does not even miss it. He loves watermelon. So he has been having that for his dessert.

Well I just wanted to say thanks everyone for writing truth in your journals, I am realizing it is just not me, that other people have the same problems I do.

Awwwwww Katie, so great to see you today:+) I had to laugh about ypur hubby not liking to smell the Medifast food...mine TOO..lol! He'll tolerate the Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal smell however, cuz he asked me one day what is THAT? it smells GOOD!

That is sooooo sweet your little boy watching his weight toooo...sure helps when someone else in the house has a same mindset too:+)...but watch the watermelon...loaded with sugar, but i guess that's ok for a young growing energetic boy...he'll burn'it off right away!

29 days til' your birthday..how exciting...i think you WILL be in the 1's by then girl:+)...just keep on shakin'!

Wow Katie,

You have such a wonderful attitude. As far as weighing yourself every couple of hours...as long as you don't let it affect your mood an outlook!

I'm so happy you're excited about your birthday and finding new accounts and I think it's hysterical that your little one is watching his junk!

Yup, I still have that calculator on my desk...

Katie ~
9.5 lbs in 29 days means that you only have to lose an
average of 0.33 lbs per day to achieve that goal! WooHoo! You can do it, girl!
Props on providing such great modeling for your son!
That ROCKS!

A little watermelon won't hurt him. It is rich in antioxidants and very nutritious. Just a cup provides almost 25% of the needed vitamin C for the day. It is 92% water so it has a lot less sugar and calories than most fruits. The general rule for fruits and vegetables is the darker or brighter the color the more antioxidants.
