Yeah no kidding girls!!

Anyway, I am down to 155.7 today. I am really close to 20lbs in 30 days, but realistically as my 30 day mark is tomorrow, I don't think I'm going to hit it. I'll be pretty darn close though!

Don't be such a scrouge! (Bah Humbug!) You are .7 pounds away from your 30 day goal. 8) You can TOTALLY make it! Drink up on the water.

Okay this is probably way TMI, but hey it's my journal. Stop now if you have a weak stomach.

Anyway, I don't usually have my "movement" this early in the morning before breakfast, but I did today....and I decided to reweigh....is that bad? I think I might have a scale addiction...Who cares.

I am down to 155.2 now! I just might make it after all! Off to update my ticker.

I decided it was time to try....some old clothes.

I pulled out some old size 14 petite khaki pants (yep I'm a shorty, 5'2" here), and some old black size 12 old navy slacks. They both fit!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheermed:

I wouldn't wear the 14P pants out yet--I have a nice nasty little stomach roll around the waist yet as it's still kind of tight. But everywhere else they fit very well. The black slacks fit great though. But they are a much more giving material AND they are old navy, which their sizes always run big to me anyway, so in the rest of the clothing world those pants would probably be a regular 14.

But the point is....I'm not in a 16 anymore!!! Woohoo to NSVs!! (and woohoo to knowing what that means, thanks Kym!)

Oh yeah, your avatar pic is sooo cute!! You look EXACTLY how i pictured you to look. In reading people's posts and stuff, if they dont have a picture as their avatar, i think the mind forms its own picture. Your facial features, hair, etc. are what i had already pictured for you!

Anyhoo, it's still a great picture of ya. Did you make your club this morning?

Ha ha ha  . I wondered if you would recognize it, I even cropped out the US insignias on the lapels. But yes, it's me in my blues; it's at my ALS graduation this spring. I weighed then almost exactly what I weigh right now, so I thought it was ok to post it now. Good catch--you have sharp eyes.

Alas all, I did not make my club. And at only 0.2 lb away. Oh well. I had a sneaking suspicion that this might happen as when I have as big of a loss as I had yesterday, I often experience a stall the next day--which happened today. Guess my body just has to have time to catch up. Oh well, no big deal. I think 19.8 lbs in a calendar month is pretty good anyway, I'll take it.

I'm into my second month now, it's time to move on.

So how hard is ALS? And is there really as much homework as we have been told? Dh has ALS starting Jan 9th. And they are knocking it down to 4 weeks long. EEECCCCKKKK!!!! Some of his buddies say to expect 3 hours each night and 8-12 hours on the weekend. True, or false? Heheheh. With Dave going to ALS, I have to wait to start my next semester. Anyways, he is taking dd to the base picnic today, so I will have pictures of them with the jets.
How's the weather in Vegas? We just had a sudden drop after record highs.
