How Much Sodium?

Hey all you helpfull MFers...

I have a question about sodium. I am wondering if I am too free with sodium causing me to retain water, and slow down my weight.

I use boullion in my soups and to flavor veggies, soy sauce in my stir fry, etc. etc. Is there a set amount of sodium that I should use and not go beyond.

Today I am trying to be more careful about my sodium intake, but I'd like to know what I am shooting for.

I retain tons of water and I know that for me personally if I use any soy sauce I swell up like a blowfish! You could always increase your water to counteract the retintion and see if that helps.

Hi, ladies!

I googled it ... the sites I purused indicated that we aim for 500-2400mg of sodium per day.

Hopefully, a health advisor will sound in here.
