Thanks Everyone! I'm so happy!

To Susan,

It may be hard getting started, but if you get through the first 3-4 days, it'll get way way better! If I looked back on the last 10 weeks, I would've NEVER thought I would do as well as I have.

I HAVEN'T done it alone, and you won't either. Join us, register (for free) and we'll be here for you! Walking with others on this journey is the main reason I'm sticking with it! Stick with it!

Wow! Dede, you go girl! I notice we are the same heigth, 5'10. I had originally set my goal weight for 145 but I'm wondering now if that may be too thin perhaps the lower 150's. Guess we'll see once we get there, eh Dede? :D

Hi

Postby dede4wd » May 10th, 2006, 8:40 pm

Hi The Finest...My BMI range is 136 to 170 or something...my doc said 145-150 after doing the bone measuring stuff. I have my Doc and a friend I trust implicitely...If one of them says stop, I will stop. My entire family is tall and lanky (except me!). My Mom is 5'11" and she weighs 157 and is thin but flabby, we have the same shoe size, same wrist size, same build...I'm kind of using her (but a little more toned) as my model. Good luck!

Hey Ark, I'm watching your ticker too...I'm still racing, but it's a race I won't mind being second for...as long as we both cross the finish line!

Woooohoooo!!! :) That's fantastic!!!! The best thing about 1/2 way there is that you already know you can lose that amount of weight, cuz ya just did. :) Pretty soon I'm be joining you in 1/2 way land. :) Right now I'm in unknown territory...I haven't been here since before 2000, but it feels pretty darned good. :)

Congratulations...hope the next 1/2 flies by for you.
