Stick to the program for at least a week. The first 3 days are the toughest for everyone.

Read the quick start guide then read the quick start guide then read the quick start guide and read the quick start guide and when you get a few minutes, read the quick start guide.

You might also want to read though other member's experiences on the forum. It is rough for everyone when they start by the losses are worth the work. This is a simple plan (read the quick start guide) but it is not easy for everyone to stick to.

Good luck & stay strong. :goodluck:

I think this was mentioned earlier. It's a common problem the first few days, as your body detoxes and goes into ketosis. There's not much you CAN do, other than ride it out. Sometimes some bouillon or pickles helps because of the extra salt, and some Tylenol or Motrin will help with the headache.

Other than that, you kinda have to "man up" (or as the women here tend to say, "put on your big-girl panties") and wait it out. In a day or two, you'll be feeling great.

Whatever you do, don't give up, David. In another day or two, you should start feeling better, although the headache might linger on and off for about a week. Some people feel better when they take naps on the first couple of days, probably why a lot of people start the program on weekends. Hang in there, it gets so much better, and you won't believe the energy you will have once your body kicks into ketosis! Keep posting your concerns, the wonderful members of this forum will get you through it, trust me! :D

Drink lots of sugar/calorie free drinks...water, koolaid, crystal light, iced tea.
Get out of the house or out of where you usually think about food.
Take on a small task...clean out your dresser...closet....go wash your car and vacuum it
If you need to have a 6th meal (MF)...in order to not eat off plan, do it.

This is the price we pay to get on the road to significant weight loss... Just think in 2 more days you will be in ketosis and on your way to the "medizone!" You will soon see results on the scale, and that will get you through.

You can do this!!!!!

Yes the first three days are the toughest. The first day I was dreaming of garlic toast, but now I almost forget to have all my supplements! It definately DOES get easier.
