Argh! I can't win. First I had the photographer who shot for almost 4 hours and needed three weeks to finish the images and was only going to give me a few. Then there was the photographer who gave me 600 raw images. Then today I get paid 100 bucks but get no pictures. (The photog rescheduled, was supposed to be tomorrow.) I emailed the first photographer yesterday and asked about my pictures and he emailed me one I got this morning and said he was busy but would email the other one today. A few to me means more than two. I just sent him an email telling him I wanted three as per our original email (I forwarded it) and was willing to wait. He has this great webpage with great pictures and had a huge studio and the picture he sent, while being very different that the others I have in my portfolio, is just not very attractive to me. Atleast if features the coat I had to go out and buy at the last minute. We sat at his computer and went over ones I liked and none looked like this! I'll let you be the judge:

first things first, i like the #2 set of earrings. BUT if you are going for a pair that you can dress up or down, go for #3. Now on to the picture...hmmm, i don't think it's one of your best. Makeup, hair, coat, clarity all look GREAT but i think it's the facial expression and the fact that it is such a "harsh" profile. (STRAIGHT from the side). Slight tilt and turn of the head and slight smile would have made this one DEAD ON!! You know, the kind of look as if you were daydreaming of something happy? Wow, now that i read back over this, it sounds almost like i'm tearing the pic apart. I'm not, it's just that to describe what i meant became wordy!

Don't be afraid to tear it apart. He took over 400 pictures of me and I was just expressing doubts that that was the best he could come up with and so were you. I asked for opinions so I invited your comments!

I vote for #1...beautiful and simple....Jackie O style, but then I guess it depends on the outfit. What will you wear?

Typically a black cashmere pullover or turtleneck in winter.

The long danglies....
I'm always more attracted to jewelry that has movement.

the 2nd pair are too.. well, Liz Taylor is a good description.
the 3rd pair are too casual.

The first pair just went on sale and the 3rd pair are more than double the price of the amethysts. That may play a factor in my selection or selection(s)!

Sale or no sale, I would absolutely go with the first pair. They're beautiful, can be worn as fine jewels when dressing up, but since they don't dangle, can also prove to be a bit more subtle for less dressy occasions. Plus, they're sophisticated, classic, and won't ever go out of style.

My 2 cents.

The way I picture you, Biki - you could do laundry in a floor length gown and all the accessories known to man and make it look natural! (That was supposed to come out as a compliment)
