can you help me?

Postby ChattieOne » November 30th, 2008, 9:51 am

Hi!

I tried to re-join MF through TSFL, but joined the Medifast1 site instead!

I just called to have my second month delivery sent from Medifast1, but would like to come back to TSFL with all of you!! I miss the forums and support that was so instrumental for me the first time around (I lost over 40 lbs a few years ago ...got 'cocky' and thought I could cheat now and then ... well, I cheated my way back 28 lbs!).

This time I know I cannot cheat - and God knows it doesn't pay to get 'cocky'.

I am looking for a female health advisor approx my age (51) who has lost somewhere in the range of 50 - 100 lbs.

My last advisor was a young guy who was very nice, but I didnt feel a particular connection with him; We didnt share anything in common. I am a married woman who has been heavy through out my teen and adult life; I'm not athletic, like to vacation, entertain, and am into crafts. I am a full time Pediatric nurse, and I have a teenaged son, two adult sons, three small dogs, and two 'Grandcats'.

If anyone knows an advisor who "fits the bill", please let me know. I can cancel my medifast renewal for January's shipment, and go directly through my new advisor ... AND I CAN COME BACK TO THIS WONDERFUL FORUM!!

Thanks :)

I thought of Diana, too, because she is so sweet, encouraging and helpful but she requested someone around 51 years old. I don't think Diana and Mike are spending as much time at this site anymore. I noticed the weight club posts aren't being 'caught' as they use to be. I hope all is okay in their lives.

Im looking for an Advisor thats been through some things (like me), she doent necessarily have to be 51.

At this point in my life, I can relate only so far to a young woman in her 20's who's put on a few pounds with her pregnancy and has used medifast to take it off.

I will call the 800 number to see if someone can help me.

Thanks!

Help

Howdy, Chattie1 -

Welcome back! Congratulations for making the decision to get back in the saddle and take control of your lifestyle. I've learned the hard way, that cockiness is fine for roosters but it is not in my best interest either! Those old habits are difficult to change; I've learned to create new health habits that keep me on track. It is a daily fight, eh? Together we can make it. Accountability, planning ahead, a concerted focus and a positive attitude help us the win the battle of the bulge!

Keep on slurpin' every three hours!

I would definitely call the 800 number listed above and talk with Terry or Nancy.. they will get you all fixed up.

BTW.. I'm here, just checking with folks and making sure things are good. Sorry if I miss some club changes... Tim seems to be busy too... so will try to keep up better. ;)

Thank you all so much!!

I just got home from work, and its 8:30. I'm assuming its too late for the 800 number ... and I cant call from work, so I'll try to call tomorrow when I get home from work (tomorrow is a 'home at 6:00' night).

My old name in here was 'ChattieCathy57', if anyone remembers me from then. I even think I posted pics that might still be lingering in here somewhere.

I'm coming back!! I really just need to get an Advisor...

Hi Cathy,
Yes...we're left coast time, so now would be fine.
If Nancy's not in, leave a msg with a good time to get back to you.

All the best,
Unca

Crap!

I wrote my reply, had my L&G, put the TV on, and fell asleep!
Next thing I knew, it was almost 11:00pm and I was on the couch with all my pups keeping me warm  so off to bed I went!

I'm calling today! :D
