Okay. The doorbell just rang and the little brown UPS man just ran up my driveway, so that means my delivery is here.

I have so much work to do but I'm more interested in unwrapping my order and studying the 'user's manual'. Tomorrow will be my official first day as I've already had a ridiculous food selection today.

So...my initial info is:

Buck naked starting weight: 185.8
Goal: 129 (just want to get to the 120's again!)

Woo Hooo!!!!!!!

I'm off to find a little ticker (oh, and better do some work, too!).

:D
Cheers!

Journal - Day 1

Postby goodtaste1 » March 14th, 2007, 6:58 am

Wed., March 14, 2007

This is my first journal entry! I had a really good first day on the program! First of all, the biggest news is that I changed my weight ticker for the very first time! As much as I want to be 30 lbs down the road, I'm taking the little victories and remembering that I'm just getting started.

The taste of the food was my biggest surprise. It's delicious! Somewhere over the past few decades, I've tasted diet 'shakes', powdered soups, etc. and didn't have a great desire to taste them again. So, I'm thrilled at how much I enjoyed the foods I tried. It will make the road much easier.

I am also so filled with excited and enthusiasm to succeed on this program. I have tried a ton of diets and haven't truly felt this strong desire for years. I'm hoping that the thought of my upcoming September wedding and the disgusting pictures of me at my top weight on our Panama Canal cruise. Ick. I will be so much more happy when I'm at my goal weight.

Here's to day #2. A bit more challenging as I have to go into my client's office and work all day but I'll figure something out.

:D
Cheers!

Good luck today. Remember, you can do anything you choose to do - and since you've chosen MF, all that remains is to put the little details in place. No one who cares for you will be upset that you are taking care of yourself, and that I hope includes what's going on for you today. I look forward to see you reach your goal and you'd better be posting some wedding pictures when the day comes!! :D

Day #2 done and onto #3!

Day 2: yesterday was a challenge as I had to go into my client's office (Microsoft) and work all day. I would have preferred to be in a 'secure' environment like my kitchen, but that's life. I did pretty well, despite of it. Couldn't drink as much water, but managed to get in about 40 oz. No blender to make my shakes in, and I just added hot water to a soup mix (ugh) without proper microwave cooking. Then a dinner at Ruth's Chris - where I drank water and had a petite filet (most of it) and a house salad (sans croutons) with balsamic vinagarette. I was proud that I stuck to the plan as well as possible (especially for just being my day #2) and it paid off! This morning I was at 181.5 I'm so excited to stay focused and get into the 170s! It's those milestones that are going to be big for me.

ALso, my sister is getting started soon so we're excited to cheer each other on through this journey.

*************

My day #3 is off to a good start! Shake (in my blender) and already starting on my water.
Cheers!
