Today is day four; head ache from sugar intake being cut way down. I hope everyone else is doing okay. I must and I will lose 50 pounds by May 2008; I know I can do it.

Thanks for the support everyone. I also have a question for anyone that can answer it; How do you keep yourself from getting bored on Medifast? Oh, by the way I tried the oatmeal that I hate so much with more water and it actually tasted a little bit better. I thought I would just do cookies with it, but the extra water came through for me. Having to force water down. I will continue to try.

I mix things like eggs with chilli divide into two meals. Make hot cakes, muffins, or cookies with the oatmeal.

You can look for your self to see what may look interesting. I only suggest you do single batches so if you don't like it you haven't used 3-4 packets in the process.

Hey,

This is day 20; I've only lost 12 pounds. I'm getting a little worried about my determination. My close friends' husband died on Valentines Day and I have some stress big time over this for her. They have dated since we were in seventh grade. They got married in 1991 and had their first son in 2003. She has been with him for 24 years and married for almost 17 years of the 24. He was only 39 years old and was a policeman for Cleveland Police Department. Their son Jaylen is only 5 years old. I did a back to back 8 hour drive to go to his homegoing service (funeral). You could tell he was well loved by our child hood community. He was a GREAT GUY. He will be missed. He also went to the Navy for 4 years and officiers were flown to Cleveland Mississippi to present a USA flag to my friend girl. I'm proud of her strength; she's surrounded by love ones right now. I worry about how well she will do when her sisters go back to the places they reside; Chicago, Missouri, etc. I just want her to be okay for Jaylen.

Please Pray For My Friend. Her name is LISA

Hi there. I would say 4 lbs a week is actually phenomenal. The average loss on this program is 1-3 lbs a week for women, and 2-5 lbs for men.

You are doing great, especially given the stress going on.

Hang in there, keep up the great work.

My most encouraging thoughts are sent your way! Don't get discouraged - so much more than weight is undergoing in your transformation like proper portions, learning to eat often, and mastering those triggers that cause you to eat for reasons other than hunger.

My most sincere heartfelt prays for your friend Lisa to find comfort.

yours warmly,
joy
